Now then, back to this news we were expecting by the end of last month... any speculation as to reasons for the delay/s folks?

LM, a buyer will never pay anywhere near its true value as if they did, they have nothing to gain. Exactly the same with share dealing, you are buying a moving company and you would not be buying any ARS if you remotely thought we were anywhere near its true value in the months/years to come.

Likewise the seller will try the opposite approach and sell as close to its current value as it can.

“Sometimes when we go to a negotiation table, you know everybody’s a bit suspicious of what’s what,” Soemarno said. “But I think after a few sessions, all of us realize and believe that we want to do a good thing, the best thing for everybody, a win-win for everybody. We are in a good position and we are quite confident that we should be able to get it done by February. ”

lm, would think that's completely normal when you have two parties trying to agree a valuation. Buyer says low, seller says high..give it a month or two and they'll meet somewhere both parties can say they won.

I see the Indonesian govt is looking to grab a 41% stake in Freeport, on top of that ROI say the value is $4billion but Freeport says it's 3 times that.
Can ROI be trusted?
Are there implication for ARS?

I welcome comments. Can you put my mind at ease?

Copper back above 3/lb. possibly due to the market realising that China is increasing its imports

Yes a lot to entertain us in the future and if all is as good as we are led to believe - and I am a believer - at what stage do we get bought out? I haven't followed an aim miner but I assume that the already proven worth of ARS must have potential purchasers salivating. The results in the coming months is going to put the price up considerably. The costs of production to a large company do not appear too much of a problem.

Charles, if we hold around 9p based on a tumble weed BB with no posts, that will do me as it forms a sound base on which to move forward.

The BKM BFS will be with us in 10-12 weeks and the new CFO is no doubt arranging finance options as we speak. It’s a slowburn in an upward direction based on a BOD who know what they’re doing.

I’ll take Mr Piggys lower 2022 valuation ....

The excitement is wearing off for news driven afficionados. Price drifting away and I don't know how low it can go but it's desperately in need of some news this week. Is anyone listening out there or have you all gone on your xmas break?

P.S. I stick by my share price valuation of between £5-10 per share from 2022 and beyond based on a mine life of 15yrs for BKM (currently 8 yrs but open in most directions) and being connected to BKZ!BKM is high grade near surface heat leachable copper with will fund exploration of the monster which is BEUTONG!I has a strip ratio of 1-1 (1 ton of waste to 1 ton of ore) so is VERY economical as most are 5-1!Over BKM's (current) 8 yr lifespan it already has 25,000 tons of copper worth1.27BILLION $If copper goes where I expect it to go and if it extends to 15yrs and taking BEUTONG into account then it's not that far fetched (in my opinion!)

Copper up today!!We should soon be over $3/LB after last weeks US sell off!I think our timing should be perfect for selling copper to the market (2019/20) where copper prices will be (in my opinion) way above most peoples expectations driven by the ramping up of demand for electric cars on top of the normal demand! The deteriorating grades of ore in the major producers mines will create a perfect storm which all ARS LTH's will greatly benefit from. My only fear is that we will be "taken out" by a major when BKM feasibility study lands early next year! That will be a great shame for all LTH's!Meanwhile we kick our trotters waiting for news on various fronts!

Charles. Take care responding to Ayehsa. He/she is quite a nasty, emotionally strung, vindictive piece of work. Having a tendency of buying high, selling low and blaming others for his/her incompetence.

Take a look at his/her posts on other boards (click on the arrow next to name on a posting).

I take heart in AIM0Raiders response to Ayesha on this (ARS) thread way back in May 2016. Post 2552;

. Ayesha, the investment isn't a disaster, your timing is. No offence meant.

Ayesha - I hope you are not trying to blame Steve for forming your decision to buy these. That would not be fair on either of you. It might even lead some to believe you are a quick in and out swing trader which I am sure is not true. If you are in for the long term a couple of pence difference in the buying price shouldn't make all that much difference.
