I wonder if this mornings rise is in part curtesy of the work done by the management at mines and money?
An early Christmas present for all investors prepared to listen to the compelling story.
It never ceases to amaze me why no one wanted to buy ARS yesterday when it was languishing at 4.25p yet today.......

Look at the juniors that have re-rated it's largely off the back of JV's or partners. I speak to MiningBookGuy if anyone knows him from ceo.ca and asked about ARS. His view on what would make him invest was a partner

I think you'll find that nothing like enough delineation has YET been done on Beutong to get a GOOD deal from a major.

Listen to the interview Mr R. You cant realise the porper value from partnerships until you have done the work. BKM and Beutong are now at point where meaningful discussions are being had and valuations not poles apart because ARS have the data and info to demonstrate.

That option gives optionality yes HB but listen to TM interview. The data they already have demonstrates the geology and high grade core. Now they have done the extra drilling this year the key to partnership discussions is having secured the 80pc ownership.

First project getting into production is the and providing cash flow is key. It was the key to oxiana's growth and it will be the key here. BKM and BKZ and maybe something else will form the basis of this

I think the point about Beutong is that it is very likely to be huge but you won't get a good deal with a major until it is proven to be huge.
In order to achieve this a great deal more deep drilling is required and in order to achieve that we need BKM cash-flow to pay for it.
Thus, it is essential to get BKM going asap.

Adorling, my point is...it’s time to deliver. I’ve heard the Solgold comparisons for a while now, the difference BHP and Newcrest are already involved. We’re still waiting here. Beutong cannot be progressed without a partner so it’s not really about the price TM accepts, more about the prize below 700m and the only way to access it...
Ps I still have 40% of my original holding and have recently added below 5p, I recollect being shouted down a few weeks back when I had the temerity to suggest the share price might end up there...

Hi MR R , actually I definitely do not think Tony will give anything away too cheaply in any partnership buy in , whatever you like to call it. He might look a softy but he is tough as nails. We don’t have the cash just now but we do have the chocolates and any data room visitor knows it. Nor do I think there will be a huge capital raising. Tony didn’t even hint at a capital raising but he did more alluding to a partnership deal, with a hint smile on his face. Go back and check the interview, it’s interesting. Remember he has over 30 million shares and he wants a super charged return for him and Mrs M as badly as we want it. The profits will be spitting out sooner than we think, particularly sooner than the doomsday crew are down ramping. Good luck with your holding

Mr R. “We can’t afford to do anything with it and any partner knows it.”

Can’t agree with you on that comment. We own 80% of Beutong and the big boys will definitely want to do something with it and pay a fair price for it when the real physical copper deficit begins to bite hard.

TM does not do fire sales for any asset he has owned (only bought them off others!). I know you sold down significantly or maybe you are out but I think all things considered there is a lot of wealth creation coming. It is just a matter of personal timetables as to when we each need the money?

Montiim, I’m still a firm believer a fundraising will come sooner rather than later.

It’s cheap, the sad thing is there really wasn’t much new in the interview. TM needs to start closing deals, especially for Beutong. We can’t afford to do anything with it and any partner knows it.

I’m feeling like it’s deja vu ..what odds a 4.3p placing and jpm loading up again...

Great interview eh.

Excellent interview. TM is a class act.

“In times of weakness our institutions will be adding to their positions “

I’d have thought this was a time of weakness....

Yup, Solgold is great but we have similar, only 500 meters shallower!

This was the interview we needed at this stage. Having watched that, I'm feeling very comfortable. Nice to hear TM confirm there has been a lot of interest for both BKM and Beutong, with follow ups planned short term. I can see a lot of regretful sellers twitching after that. Anything could happen, anytime with regards to Beutong and Baroi. BKM just looks like a case of derisking further with the redesigned pit and additional resource built in. If they tweak capex further, even better. Interesting comparison between Beutong and Sol G as well. We've hit copper from surface down to 500m, which is where their deposit starts!

I met with Tony and Peter today. Was great to speak to them in person. What was clear is how hard they are working to deliver for shareholders. Tony sums it up brilliantly in his interview. The value proposition here is ridiculously compelling. We all have our numbers but it is clear that the resource has tangible value way above the current mkt cap of $51m given recent transactions. The resource already proven on BKM and Beutong is c$420m NOW in my view. So much more to add to that with further drilling which partnership deals will facilitate. Beutong open in all directions. Mineralistaion everywhere around BKM to add to resource in time. Baroi a 4th resource to come in time. The company can do nothing about cu price near term but can do everything to get the company progressed as far as possible in as shareholder friendly a way as possible to enjoy significant leverage when the inevitable copper price squeeze does manifest itself. Very happy holder and will add more in my SIPP as funds have just come available.

Re fundraising, I feel that the board reckon they have cash until around April so they will either have to have done a deal of some sort on BKM/Z or possibly Beutong by then or they will have to tap the market once more for funds and the price will depend purely on the copper price.
Exciting times!

No mention of a fundraising? Usually when they come to town it ties in with a funding.

Still not convinced they'll wait to next year to raise and I've heard all the stuff about partners before. Time to start delivering. Pretty clear only deep pockets can do anything at beutong.

Great interview,

Some compelling Big Bang things jumped out.

Focus on LONG TERM, compelling features of the holes and geology of BKZ and BKM, Data room open and busy with potential partnership deals, Beutong the monster, brilliant position regarding infrastructure, mention of BHP and NEWCREST, mention of SOLGOLD, partnership opportunities but always with stakeholders the priority, his own aligned 30 million plus shares, BAROI opportunities. Nothing has changed with the assets. Copper squeeze will come next year.
All compelling things to make me consider building my position.
