Yeah, done I reckon. Would be gutted! Sentiment needs to change on this stock - only way I see this happening is management delivering what the market wants and quick smart.

Whilst that would be near 100%ish gain for me - I hope not.

I agree - what this needs now is momentum. Bring back Steve Hughes!

All brokers giving 20-22p targets. If a bid came in at 25p I suspect we’d be gone in a flash

Agreed HG, I don't think there's any drill result capable of pushing this upwards until we have the BFS RNS and financing details in hand. The reaction to previous Beutong related RNS's is proof that the market has low interest in Beutong at this stage of the company's development - knowing full well that BKM is much more advanced in its development and will therefore be the first major catalyst for a return on investment. I'd personally be frustrated if we get another Beutong drill RNS before the BFS - my assumption, based on previous experience being that this will generate a wave of more selling on the news, regardless of the RNS content, and drive the share price further down opening ourselves up further for a low ball bid from a major. The BoD have done a remarkable job in the last couple of years in developing the assets of this company and I trust they are busting their guts to produce the BFS and financing. However, my view is that the share price will continue to stagnate/drift until they produce what the market wants to see. Sacks of dry powder ready to extinguish fires below 8.5p. IMO DYOR

Or more likely simply ongoing copper price weakness and derisking in U.K. midcaps

We are where we are but the BOD haven’t really helped re: BKM. Go back 12 months and end Q1 2018 was slated for the BFS. That got pushed back to end H1 for the extended leach tests (ok) but the latest delay to end Q3 is not great. It questions whether FC will be achieved this year. This is in parallel with a poor CU price and late bull market unease across markets generally.

The momentum of previous drilling campaigns appears to have been lost as Beutong is ‘slow’ in comparison + we don’t know where the Beutong drilling will take us other than it should improve confidence on its scale but not necessarily in terms of an enlarged Jorc with more measured/indicated resource.

I think because of the above , the repeated PR releases now have little impact.

I said a day or so ago that publishing the BFS and FC on BKM is important and it is as the market now wants to see execution of the plan with no more delays.

There has been a persistent seller(s) for months, if you bought big at 1-2p , why not?

It’s a difficult period for us LTH’s.

BHP on copper
copper market outlook:

"Copper prices rose over the 2018 financial year, with gains in the first half sustained for most of the second half. Broad-based demand strength and the threat of supply disruption both contributed to the improvement in prices. The rise in trade tensions pushed copper prices down early in the 2019 financial year. Grade decline, increased input costs, water constraints and a scarcity of high-quality future development opportunities will require attractive prices to secure sufficient investment to balance the market, with new mine supply required in the early part of the next decade."

Dorset - it would be rude not to have taken advantage of adding in the 8p range, would it not?

Many thanks for confirming what we know.

I have moved your posts to Tern bb, where we have taken a battering of this nature for the best part of 3 years now. Culminating in a speeding ticket, as the Nomad may have been caught short on naked sales, by a sharp rise. Nowt said of course.

Significantly Tern has now changed broker.

Look out for S. Profits when the games begin, which it may well, as ARS is a promising target. They are often in the mix.

Agreed Arf. Gives the house the edge (or should I say b book).

I never use leverage on spread bets. Can’t be squeezed out then. Never go short either. Useful tool if the isa is maxed out for Cgt exemption.

A stop loss is no substitute for a brain and a pair of eyes.

A stop loss is like leaving your money on the table and saying, "Take it!"

Apologies to all if my last post was a bit preachy!

Simply due to fact I have worked very close to a team of market makers and a good friend of mine worked as one. Seen all the fun and games with my own eyes!
