25/11/2017 13:18 | I use iweb £5 per trade. They're owned by Halifax.I find them fine, used to trade a lot and no issues. Rarely trade nowadays and everything in their isa | alwayshopefl
25/11/2017 12:41 | My wife and I have been with SVS and HL for quite a few years. I've lost count of the occasions when I've completed a transaction with SVS without a problem only to have an identical deal knocked backed by HL due to size/liquidity issues. It depends what shares you're trading of course, but if you're looking for reasonably substantial deals on AIM I'd go for SVS every time (lower charges too). | der richter
25/11/2017 12:04 | I'm with TD (now II) and find them ok but could do better and am thinking of moving elsewhere. I hadn't seen that they were going to change their charging structure. I currently pay £9.95 I think (can't check just now as their site is closed for maintenance). My main problem with TD is their "paperwork". For instance, on some screens they round their prices to two decimals of a pound thus chopping off anything less than a penny, so my limit buy of ARS at 9.25p is shown as £0.09. Even worse, when I download my trading history in order to do my annual tax return, trades are listed in string format, ie as TEXT, not numbers! eg... "" 100000 ASIT RESO Del .05 S Date 30/06/17 "" Believe it or not, the above means 100,000 shares of Asiamet Resources traded at £0.05. The actual trade price was not 5p, it was, in fact, 5.17p. Clever, eh? Anyway, TD has been taken over by Interactive who will probably migrate the current TD clients over to their own systems. Soon, I hope. littlemadam, I would not sell up at TD and buy back elsewhere. If you want to change broker I think the best way would be to set up a new account with whoever you want to deal through and then ask them to transfer all your stocks from TD. I believe that they will do this free of charge. This will save you money and hassle. Good luck. | horneblower
25/11/2017 11:51 | H-L good. Not the cheapest but good | 113mike
25/11/2017 11:22 | littlemadam, I think you'll find that £100 a year isn't unusual. I'd suggest you relocate your accounts based on the service level you get/expect. Otherwise stay with who you are with. Soon your ARS shares will make your broker fees look insignificant.... :-) | knobbly
25/11/2017 11:10 | littlemadam - if you do decide to move from one dealer to another you should be able to arrange a transfer rather than have to sell. | zaphod99
25/11/2017 11:06 | I agree with Mr R, I'm with H&L, you can find cheaper. But H&L have excellent customer service and website. I pay £8.95 per trade and circa £100 fee link to size of portfolio. | barneycosmo
25/11/2017 10:35 | I'm with Hargreaves landowne, LM. I can only speak very highly of them. Bern with about a decade now. | mr roper
25/11/2017 10:23 | Hi all. Can I pick your brains? For years I have had a dealing account with T D Waterhouse. They have been bought by Interactive Investor who are introducing new terms & conditions. The charges will be £22.50 per quarter in the form of credits. I suppose this means it is cost neutral for regular traders. These days I trade infrequently so will be paying £90 a year even if I never trade. I am thinking of selling the shares in my dealing account, closing it and moving to another broker. Any suggestions? Thanks in anticipation. | littlemadam
24/11/2017 19:58 | Nice to see copper close above $3.17. A push to $3.30 and consolidate will be good, with our NPV values underpinned a year ahead of production and validated for prospective buyers. | highly geared
24/11/2017 18:05 | More like 3-5 months, cyber! | mr roper
24/11/2017 17:20 | Cyber - I hope everything in your life has improved! | charles clore
24/11/2017 17:18 | I spotted ARS at 1.3p, but due to some personal turmoil in my life at that time I wasn't able to buy any sadly. My average is about 3p. I hope to see a 10-bagger in about 12 months if all goes to plan...GLA NAI | cyberbub
24/11/2017 17:13 | The leach tests released months ago met the PEA criteria. Any improvement on these will simply be a bonus and further improve the NPV. If they don’t show improvement, it doesn’t matter... | highly geared
24/11/2017 16:59 | Very pleased with the turn around and recovery today. Also the appointment is excellent news. Not so happy with lack of met update but trusting saving further news for London trip or held up with consultants. Just hoping there are no problems with the longer tests so slightly nervous but holding tight due to strength of management team. Not your usual AIM shysters are they. | scarymonster
24/11/2017 16:56 | So, come on, who sold 17 shares for £1.89? If it was my old man who was desperate for a pale ale in the snug tonight I'll whack him one. He can buy 10 in 18 months time. I have been share dealing for 25 years and cannot recall such an exciting prospect as ARS. I'm retired and don't need the money but I'm not selling here. Too much fun to be had. 18p not out of the question before Xmas, then the sky's the limit. Thanks to those here who got me in at 1.89p. I have kept on buying up to ,9.23p and will hold hold hold. | littlemadam
24/11/2017 16:50 | Can't help it - the similarity between today's candle and a sky rocket is unmistakable! | charles clore
24/11/2017 16:36 | Superb strength into the close and a lot of sellers/traders having to buy back again no doubt. What a week to look forward to but until then enjoy the weekend with a smile on your face 😀! | adorling
24/11/2017 16:34 | Reversal candle today points to a new base formed 10-11p. The topping tail at 12.5p needs cracking now and then straight to 15p. Loving how the copper price is firming again... | highly geared
24/11/2017 16:31 | Lol..cyber. saw rjd live at the Astoria about 12 years ago. If our Deo is half as good I'll be happy! Ride the tiger! | mr roper
24/11/2017 16:27 | Let's hope James Deo can makes as much success with Asiamet as he did with Black Sabbath.(showing my age there) | cyberbub
24/11/2017 16:18 | Look at that afternoon chart - what a thing of beauty.... | 2lb
24/11/2017 16:17 | Wow the market LOVES the new appointment! Well done those who managed to get in under 10p this morning. This could really fly next week imho if we get the expected licence and metallurgy news. | charles clore |
