I went back through some of the old proactive interviews and this one with TM just sums it up for me. He talks about the $1bn mkt cap potential but with such calm authority of someone who has done it all before. In 30 years this is one of the best mines he has been involved with re operating costs. Talks about quick payback from BKM58 and 44. The consistency of the message and delivery on it for me has been excellent. 3 years from now debt on BKM paid back and all that cash available for further drilling/Beutong BFS/ even dividends. Hold tight and let this mgt team do their thing. https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=GoF-s6gNAkg

Nice one Mr R... I would add more but now the majority of my portfolio is ARS as I have great confidence in the management team, asset and demand for copper.

Really? Normally a drop in share prices means net selling. Where do you get your buy information from.

Big volume today with what appear to be more purchases than sales. Suggests market makers are short.

IMO above 15p on the day it is announced and climbing steadily thereafter until the BFS is published. It will add substantial value to ARS asset base and they are likely to increase 40% ownership with Media Partners to 80%. It will also signal Indonesia Mining Ministry is open to significant foreign investment in its mineral resources.

Steve Hughes is getting a rig to drill 500m depth in the middle of Beutong once granted. There is a clear reason for that!

What value would the big B add to the share price I know this has been discussed before and I personally don't see it priced in, but when it lands how will we go?

TC - those of us in the know at ARS know the big B will be upon us very shortly. All the sellers will unfortunately feel their exit from ARS was one of the biggest investment and trading mistakes they will ever make in their life.

I did it with CNE where I held 20,000 shares at 47p and sold the lot for 96p to bag a 100% gain only to watch the painful rise to over £38 - if I just had the patience to wait less than 24 months my holding would have been worth £760,000. I have learnt from this and am about to make that amount again in the next 10-14 days IMHO.

Seriously impressed with the level of knowledge on this Company by genuine investors. without sounding like a sycophant .. I guess you could say inspirational... certainly for me! I'm convinced, and thank you to those who replied to my burst of questions.

I get the impression that they've had the nod/conversation that it's all done bar the signature and that we'd have it in November. Now, on the last day of the month, the company simply sends someone to knock on the door and generally make a nuisance of themselves, perhaps not picking it up today (although I wouldn't rule it out) but certainly focusing the signatories mind somewhat; the proverbial kick up the behind. We'll see if it yields any results.

sound like a similar task to sending someone to the shop to get a newspaper and some milk...

"Mines and Money yesterday
I met up with the team at Mines&Money yesterday in London. Their stand was busy and seemed to be generating a lot of interest. Some notes below, a lot covered in Steve's proactive interview which came out today, but a few more snippets:

KSK: they currently have 4 rigs there, 2 doing geotech/sterilisation and the other 2 have been doing BKM/BKZ respectively. Steve was considering putting 2 rigs on BKZ, he obviously thinks it's a fantastic prospect (second only to Baroi in his view). He was confident that BKZ connected to BKM (as already indicated in the videos) - they knew that was likely, but the deeper copper at BKZ confirmed it in his mind I think. He will just keep drilling south, the first of the 3 holes he said was complete and looked great (mentioned today in the video), but the assay drag on the last hole had extended to 5 weeks.

BKZ: Steve has drill plans all laid out for resource delineation there. He wasn£t sure whether the company would push on to that point yet as the first priority will be following the copper, but if they did push on, he was thinking mid-2018 for initial resource at BKZ.

Steve was actually expecting to see more gold associated with the copper in the last hole reported there, so if he's right gold should increase to south along with the copper (gold and copper associated with the hotter parts in the VMS-type system). Also, reason for not seeing a stronger zinc soils signature in the northern parts of BKZ is because of an overthrust of rock obscuring the main system - basically a cap of rock has been pushed over the top of the structure the mineralising fluid has come up out of (can't quite recall the thickness but from memory he said 40 m). The fluid has then come up and hit this cap and then followed it along, forming a big lens of mineralisation. Increased their understanding of the system and where they were likely to find more mineralisation.

Had a general chat to Peter Bird about the co. He doesn't get much airtime on podcasts and the like, but I found him very impressive. I'm sure he plays well with institutional investors and struck me as a very safe pair of hands.

met data: again lab delays but as announced yesterday the results were now in and we should see the short column results next week. He talked me through what breaking down the columns entailed and said there were 500-odd samples from it to run hence why it takes time to do. Expecting that to be a pretty data-heavy RNS.

Beutong: will come very soon in his opinion (coming days?). Partner had said November and that was clearly the expectation - all complete and sitting on the head guy's desk awaiting his signature... he was sending someone into the ministry today. "imminent" for want of a better word..."
