Interesting that Market Oracle piece says 'A new Escondida copper mine (largest copper mine in Chile) is needed every 18 months to meet this future demand'

If copper was to hit $6 I would expect our eventual share price to be in the £2-3 per share level, maybe more...

That's interesting Matt, they mention a possible 100% move to $6 Copper price which is exactly what I proposed a few months back from my interpretation of the Copper chart based upon Copper breaking into a new much larger trading range which it did when it crossed around $2.95. This much larger trading range sees an upper trend line where Copper could hit $6 over say a 5 year timeframe. That's where I see major value for ARS when we'll possibly have Beutong in production and a market cap in the billions

I'm sitting here thinking. If I was expecting a monumental rise in the number of electrical vehicles in 2 or 3 years time I would be asking where will all that copper come from? I would be asking how long does it take to mine it, process the ore, smelt it and draw it into wire and then get it supplied, in enough quantity to meet manufacturers demands. I would be thinking there ain't much time to waste, let's get the orders in now!

...to use a quote from Tony Manini at an investor Q&A “when this gets moving {copper} it will really move and you have not seen anything yet”

History will prove him right again I suspect.

Copper price moving again to $3.044 - let’s not forget that the Life of Mine (LOM)cost of copper used in the PEA was $3.25

I believe BKM will easily have a LOM over 10 years now so who thinks for 10 years copper will only average a price of $3.25 when it it already at $3.044 now and the world is facing huge demand for copper from China and Indian growth, Electric Vehicles, solar power etc. against declining grades and new mines?

I thought so and welcome to the “No brainer” investment case ARS.

The 264,113 could be the last of the seller. Usually, a large odd number that ends a sustained period of selling, well the ones I can remember anyway. If so, any sustained buying should really see this take off.

and another quarter mil through below the bid...SP holding up..why's that? Is there a big buy to come through?

to coin a phrase, Summat's up, and it ain't just the SP!

Getting closer and closer to a significant breakout. There will be a lot of people watching for a clear break of the 5.5p level.

Above that and it could get very interesting indeed.

I agree with all being said.

Who posted here last week saying he/she was shorting this? Gone very quiet.

Anyone think the large seller has finished? That would be a positive? Lots of small sells so far today.

Charles, I think some more positive news on bkz alone should see the top taken out. The license should put us in to the 8-10p+ zone.

JRM - yes i meant at the BFS level where institutional money usually plays. It's the HNWs and more sophisticated market participants who are really going to drive this thing first then the funds will get in at BFS. Beutong exploration should be onstream by then

would think this is at the tipping point now, slightest run of consistent buying should see the 5.6p high taken out.

When we see holdings RNSs about large investors buying on the open market (not via placings) the price will be moving up very rapidly.
