Shareholder 'shafting' already well factored into the price after NEO bought up a huge stake earlier this year. So there is some upside here. Guess its cheaper to buy a small company via continuous dilution rather than pay off all the small investors at 2p a share..... personally see it as slightly good news, as it shows there is still life in this dog.

Another VMG. No money. Share holders will get shafted when new shares come to the market. sell notes out on this share.

RNS released.

Looking forward to the significant contract wins being announced....!

I think the funding will be sorted through NEO, so this is looking good for an upward rise in my opinion. Hold a alrge stake here and hoping my patience will be rewarded!

I have been in the Touchscreen industry since 1988 designing and manufacturing infra-red but also supplying normal capacitive, SAW and resistive. We had identified a market for 24/7 touch systems for shops in 1989 but the technology, especially the displays were not there. Its the sunshine in the summer thats the problem, with CRT displays at the time only generating 300 cd/m of light they looked like they were turned off in the summer.

In early 2000 we managed to get 1400 cd/m LCDs in 15" which could compete with the sunlight and people tried Estate Agents for the 24/7 idea. Customers could search and look at properties even when the shop was shut. But the systems were expensive with the display alone being £2,000.

I have been selling the through-glass capacitive systems since 1993 and at last the power of PCs has caught up, as well as the display technology (although sunshine is still an enemy).

Multi-touch is the next big thing with Windows 7 supporting it, we are nearly there with a product which is true multitouch.

Still 4 vs. 1 and still difficult to buy without going into a queue. Is something about to be released? Tie-up with VMG, some contract news? Here's hoping. Still beleive there is a lot of value to be had here but the company isn't selling themselves to get market attention

Digital signage, every major retailer is either looking at it, planning a roll-out or is already rolling out. Big names such as Ralph Lauren, Nike, Adidas, Major Banks around the world. Even in Bus shelters and the Firebrigades have them built into vehicles. The list goes on and on.

Id consider adding if the spread wasn't so off-putting. Although I think it'll take a patient year or 2 to see any real material return here on ASG. It'll come though, and probably via someone else taking us on.

I work for Visualplanet and we supply the projected capacitive technology for these kiosks. Our sizes range from 30" up to 116" diagonal and we are very busy producing touchscreens for this massive global market. I have held ASG for nearly 3 years so its great to see this company entering my market of Interactive Signage.

RNS but it doesnt seem to be of much interest. Is there any value in signng a 2 year deal with abc? Certainly the market doenst think so. If nothing else, at least it shows there is something going on in the ASG offices !

Wow - this should really rocket tomorrow! Remeber, 26% of the shares aren't in public hands and there are some fairly large holders out there (including myself) who have been waiting patiently!! Hope tomorrow is rewarding!

From another source.....

Something fishy going on with the markets when you get a share rise like this just before an announcement, sorry it;s after trading but we can tell you that tomorrow a deal will be announced between abc media and ASG Media in a 2 year deal to link ASG's SPAR TV network with the rest of the retail media opportunities currently available from abc media and / or planmymedia

new installation of five giant digital six-sheet pods at Gloucester Quay's Shopping Center.

Gloucester Quay's Shopping Center Installs Wayfinding Digital Signage

ASG Media, London, recently installed five giant digital six-sheet pods running Acquire's Kiosk Developer software at Gloucester, England's Quays waterside shopping and leisure center.

At 78.74 inches in height by 31.5 inches in width and 9.84 inches deep, the double-sided, portrait-oriented pods - manufactured by Esprit Digital and operated by ASG Media - are designed to minimize sightlines while ensuring impact and media presence, according to the company. The pods, using Acquire to display their interactive content, show a mix of advertising and other rich media in order to provide shoppers with a touch-screen enabled digital sign, said the company.

The dynamic content featured on the displays was designed and developed by Working Solutions, a digital signage and kiosk solutions provider located in Leicester, England. An interactive mall guide displayed on the pods communicates the mall's products and services, and incorporates a live clock, map and store directory wayfinder.

The Acquire software - which is configured by the shopping mall's personnel - also interprets and graphically displays the delivery of live Internet feeds for weather, traffic and shopping mall news, according to the company.

Another display feature is the gift card balance reader, which operates in the same way as an ATM so that Gloucester Quays' customers can check their remaining card balances, said the company.
