AFRICA’s only integrated nickel mining and smelting company Bindura Nickel Corporation realised a profit after tax of US$13,5 million for the year ended March 31, 2019, compared to the US$5,8 million recorded in the prior year.

The firm’s revenue had modestly grown by 1 percent to US$54 million from US$53,6 million in the comparable period last year.

That is the million dollar question! lets hope it is more than the 2.1p offered by RPI. I would certainly like to see more having stuck it out this long.

This is positive:

"5.6 A narrative in respect of the categories of creditor claims can be found in the Proposals.
However, shortly after the end of the Reporting Period, the Zindico claim (the contingent
liability noted above) was struck out against the Company (having previously been struck out
against FRGM) and it is therefore expected that this amount will not be payable."

Which was up to $20m.

Sounds reasonably encouraging. By the time of the next report (yr. end) it sounds as though real progress will have been made.

The report is out there on their website and little has changed since the last report. Buyers for the constituent parts of ASA continue to show interest.....

This is all the more reason that we need an update as to where we are.

What ever happened to the buyer for the FRGM asset? Quote - Bidder C - A party interested in the FRGM asset, to whom the Joint Administrators are currently in negotiations with.

No news might be good news, but not professional to miss promised deadlines. Do we need to chase or give them a bit of slack. I get the impression that there is life in the old dog. Not totally despondent yet!

According to the last report on December 24th 2018 from Duff& Phelps we were due an update no later than 29.6.19. The wait goes on.

I see Zimbabwe are asking us to pay compensation to the white farmers stripped of their land with threats, intimidation and murder by Mugabe's thugs. This country is so soft it will probably hand the cash over. I wouldn't send a penny to Africa.
