18/6/2018 20:05 | it will never be sorted . You had your chance to sell | juju44
18/6/2018 18:40 | It does seem to be dragging on a bit.Surely spomebody must know something by now ,how long do these people want to sort things. | casabella2
18/6/2018 13:20 | .....and meanwhile the ASA Administrator continues to clock up fees. I wonder what will happen when there is not even any money to pay them! | timgw
12/6/2018 18:42 | Except that they’ve used up all the money and the smelter isn’t anywhere near finished. | nomz
07/6/2018 18:54 | Too late!!!!! I see bindura nickel have repaid 25% of their loan and all interest up to date. Looks good. | trevorm2
05/6/2018 18:44 | My word this is takin some sorting. | casabella2

11/5/2018 15:34 | Next Six Month Progress Report due end August. You could always try mailing them to see if you get any response - Mark.Skelton@Duffand | timgw
10/5/2018 12:32 | Long time now with no news of any sort. | casabella2
27/4/2018 09:42 | Tim - I think you may well be logically right; however, I find it difficult to be an investor without having a strong optimistic streak. Even after the last big sell off, I average 8 to 10% pa including ASA my biggest loss for years. Good luck with all our future picks! | iamald
25/4/2018 16:12 | iamald - On the one hand we have your hopeful optimism and on the other side Juju44's pessimism! In the middle there is a distinct lack of facts. Some realism: - RPI hold 60% of the shares in the original company. They have no obligation or necessity to buy shares from anyone else. - The shares are not only suspended from trading but unlisted. There is no market for them. - Paying off the creditors will cost a large part of the net worth of the company. - Nobody knows what if any trading is taking place. - The administrators will not relinquish their control of the company until all financial, legal, and criminal matters have been resolved. This will take some time. - No other company will buy any or all of the business until they know what they are buying and there are no possible claims from other parties. I am inclined to agree with Juju! | timgw
20/4/2018 18:16 | I keep hearing rumours that there is still hope. I was just above water at 2.1p and have my modest holding, so can only wait... And the hold out among us have 40% I thought, against RPI 60%? | iamald
20/4/2018 13:46 | Hi, don't forget the price of gold as well now to what it was in July when ASA was suspended.Agreed about the results it would be nice to see if we could still be run as a going concern and not sold off.As i see it at present the china thieves are only major shareholders. | casabella2
20/4/2018 13:29 | It would be nice to see some full results from both mines over the last year. But given the lack of operational capital I strongly doubt that either are generating significant cash. And of course the company is officially insolvent. | nomz
20/4/2018 13:19 | I wouldn't go so far as to say I am excited! I'm just confused. The nickel price has almost doubled from its low point. It has to be generating significant cash, or soon will be if this is sustained. The gold price has been good too. | caedwalla
20/4/2018 11:47 | What smelter? It's nowhere near finished and they haven't got any money to complete it. And they aren't mining enough to fill it anyway. And they need to complete a shaft deepening to access more high grade ore. And they haven't any money to do that either. I wouldn't get too excited just yet. | nomz
20/4/2018 11:17 | The smelter suddenly looks more like a real asset. Nickel price surge due to Russia sanctions taking the price well above 15,000 per tonne. We might not see much out of it but someone surely will. | caedwalla
18/4/2018 17:51 | I got my money from RPI without even accepting the offer! Alliance Trust sold them regardles. This may turn out to be no bad thing but I will not be investing in any AIM shares again. In retrospect I can't see them being worth more than 2.1p and just hope RPI have shot themselves in the foot with this despite, allegedly, buying shares with stolen money. | timgw
17/4/2018 17:19 | Yes i got money for my share holding took a big hit but as ive been skanked too many times on aim i decided to cut my losses this was never going to end well I had built up a fairly big holding started with mawana and have been topping up ever since I paid 64 pence for my first shares how things can change | cobbydog
17/4/2018 17:06 | Juju: I don't believe you are correct in that statement. Ok we had a set back with PAF being unable to proceed but no news from the Administrators is good news as they are obviously still working on a solution. There is no requirement for them to report to the market, so we just have to remain patient whilst the deal (s) is/are finalised. Don't forget ASA had some great assets and their underlying value has increased over the time we've been in suspension/de-listed | plasybryn
17/4/2018 16:51 | just as a matter of interest, did anyone who accepted the offer from the nice Chinese people, actually get their money? | thecynical1
04/4/2018 18:18 | This is a dead duck . Forget it and get a life | juju44
04/4/2018 17:07 | Dearing’s relationship with Ning has b en questionable from day one. Either way he single handedly failed shareholders in his role as company secretary. hxxp://www.theindepe | nomz |
