23/9/2017 11:29 | If that is the case what is the point in it. | casabella2
23/9/2017 10:43 | Sorry casabella2 I think you have misread the CIMGC position. They have withdrawn their acceptance of only one ASA share not their total holding the acceptance for which still stands. What is more important is on Sept 13th RPI claimed they had acceptances of 816,357,916 (48.25%) compared with Sept 22nd 816,522,702 (48.24%) a reduction of 164,786 (0.01%). But this reduction is a mere drop in the ocean. What has not yet been commented upon is the Hailiang and connected persons holding of over 155Mn ASA shares acquired in May 2015 from Ning and where are over 100Mn of Ning's personal holding disposed of in May 2015. I remain of the opinion that this entire RPI attempted takeover is a Ning/Hailiang contrivance. | newbuoy
23/9/2017 08:24 | CIMGC look to have seen the light and realise the true value of the company. They have over 16% of the shares in issue.Come on follow their lead and make rpi(if they really want to take the company)pay the real value. | casabella2
22/9/2017 21:56 | Holders of the shares are seeing the light. | plasybryn
22/9/2017 21:54 | And they still beg for shares.Maybe because they have lost over 16% of the acceptances by CIMGC giving backword.RPI just give it up. | casabella2
22/9/2017 20:19 | Why lengthen it when the current one hasn't expired? Strange.I keep hoping that we will get some positive news from our own team, but I'm not sure they can report progress whilst the Administrator has control.Let's hope the Administrator decides the Co can come out of Administration, the suspension ended and our Directors give us an update. News of a new bid for the Co. would be nice. Wishful thinking or a possibility? | plasybryn
20/9/2017 13:30 | WS - sorry, brain not engaged....of course, it was my order; and I'll increase it when L&G comes on Thursday..... | iamald
19/9/2017 17:07 | News must be close. Administrators Report due by next Tuesday at latest (26th Sept) | plasybryn
19/9/2017 15:42 | I was referring to the BUY order, but I guess you answered that one... Inteview that inspired me, and this guy - Jack Ma, gives me hope for a brighter future, and for U.S./China relations, but, there's still too many rogues in this world... Still, maybe we will see a good outcome... (Optimistic view I hope) W. | wstirrup
18/9/2017 15:35 | W - was what? Had to put in a "Limit", as no market deal available....does that answer you? Oh, the collapse of the US$ has been forecast for years - as they have long been insolvent, but don't think the Chinese would dare pull the plug yet....but when? also, I'm sure there is still too much going on for any certain statement from the Admins yet. | iamald
18/9/2017 14:38 | Interesting take on crypto/Gold markets... Does the China Gold/Oil futures contract mean the end of the Dollar Hegemony? W. | wstirrup
18/9/2017 13:25 | IAM... Was it yours? ;¬)) W. | wstirrup
18/9/2017 11:28 | TDW, my broker, has just accepted a "buy" order to add at 2p. Have faith! | iamald
18/9/2017 10:30 | Another 8% rise of the BNC share price to 3,8$ct. Represents a value of 1,5410p per ASA share. Draw your own conclusions. | hute17
16/9/2017 10:35 | I am not happy to do that . I will wait and see whet our board / the administrators have to say . Its about time they gave us some consideration and said something | juju44
14/9/2017 22:08 | Good post Hute... | wstirrup
14/9/2017 13:25 | Despite falling Nickel Prices, BNC share price has risen again to 3.5$ct, representing a value of 1,4428p per ASA share. The Richpro offer of 2,1p per ASA share therefore values all the other activities Freda Rebaca, Zani Kodo and copper in the DRC at 0,6572p or a total of 11,1 mio GBP. Interesting that Hailiang agreed to invest 25mio$ for 62% of the copper JV in the DRC, valuing just this JV at over 40 mio$ or 30mio GBP. If that doesn't sound quite right, don't blame the Chinese for making such an outrageous offer, you only have yourself to blame, if you accept it. | hute17
14/9/2017 08:44 | Are Ning's shares included in the acceptances ? | gfrae
13/9/2017 09:06 | Good to see positive action from the anti-fraud agencies in Zimbabwe. Although they're probably toothless in this case I have more respect for third world police forces than the AIM regulator, if indeed one exists. | mr macgregor
13/9/2017 08:23 | Not clear to me what the rules are now regarding ASA board releasing RNS during administration, but they really need to issue something following the additional claims of fraud by Ning and co. on Bindura. They can of course caveat that they will provide more information upon release of Administration findings in late Sept, but they need a placeholder now. Politically it really does not look good and this perceived inaction (on basis there has been no update on fraud investigation by ASA) gives perfect excuse for Zimbabwe to confiscate (i.e. nationalise) the Freda and Bindura assets. At least state that the administration proceedings have included detailed analysis of fraud claims and that they are working with both UK and Zimbabwe authorities. | redtrend
13/9/2017 07:58 | No improved offer then....... I wonder when it is going to dawn on them that their offer is not of much interest to shareholders...... I mean.... Surely, they are able to count? | thecynical1
13/9/2017 06:59 | RPI would like to reiterate that none of Ning Yat Hoi, Kwan Yim Chiu and China International Mining Group Corporation ("CIMGC") are involved in the making of the Offer. Ning Yat Hoi and CIMGC were contacted with regard to seeking irrevocable undertakings or letters of intent in their capacity as (taken together) the largest holders of ASA Shares. RPI has no intention to involve these parties in the management or operation of the ASA Group following completion of the Offer. RPI may, however, contact these parties to seek or obtain information from them as to actions taken by them in relation to the affairs of the ASA Group. It states in this part of the rns that Ning was contacted. Read this from the Herold posted yesterday Det Asst Insp Rushwaya said the suspects' whereabouts were still not known and their last known address was Freda Rebecca Guest House in Bindura. Police are appealing to anyone with information that may lead to their arrest to contact Detective Constable Lisita on 0776 867 130, CID Bindura on 0271-6515, national complaints desk on (04) 703631 or any nearest police station. RPI seem to know where he is. | casabella2 |
