Should be loan free by end of Q1 2020 and then the coffers will fill quickly.
Now on to kizilcukur results. Let's hope we can keep our heads above 2p.

They've been doing significant drilling so sure a chunk has been spent but nowhere near 5m in a year

Would be interesting to know how much cash they have in the bank now ! It must be a decent chunk of the market cap, they have run a tight ship and I am sure very little of the cash that has come in has been spent

Buying at 2.08.. Thats been a while!Whats not to like here, solid base that gets even more solid q on q, and the potential for a whopper with Salinbas.

Excellent results for q1 , pretty amazing the jv is spitting out 2.7m usd a month to aau, was that a typo ? Should it be 2.7 a quarter, at this rate the aau parent co will have a hefty cash pile and I can see that tasvan is not going to need much if any of a bank loan as the cashflow from the current mine and the hoard being built up will cover it !

I own a bunch of kav and its depressing to see it spammed around like this , does nothing to promote a good stock so I wish they wouldn't do it unless there was some connection....

KAV

Some nice words in the morning note from the highly respected mining analyst John Meyer at share price Angel ref: LSE:KAV / www.kavangoresources.com /Tw*tt*r = #KAV

Kavango Resources (KAV LN) 3.6p, Mkt Cap £5.7m – Laws of probability to be rewritten after Kavango strikes mineralisation in first and second drill holes under Karoo sand in Botswana

Kavango, which is exploring for a large-scale bushveld igneous-type mineralisation reports results from a second drill hole in Botswana.

The team which are highly experienced in the geology of the region have used geophysical data and remote sensing to establish drilling locations.

Remarkably, the first drill hole hit mineralisation under the sandy Karoo sediments
Even more remarkably the second drill hole is reported to have also hit mineralisation including copper in chalcopyrite with a 1.5% XRF gun reading. X-Ray Frequency gun readings are not considered to be reliable due to their potential for miss-reporting but we do place some value on the readings when in the honorable hands of Messrs. Foster and Moles.

The first drill hole hit a 200m zone of intensely altered rock with indicative cobalt values of up to 0.9%, averaging 0.2% cobalt and >70m of elevated copper, zinc, lead and nickel values.

Conclusion: Kavango is worth watching and we await results from drill core assays. While we never doubted the skill of the geological team we are surprised and impressed to see two sets of mineralised results in so short a time frame. Well done team!

Markets don't like any timescales missed so why have them? as long as they are doing best endeavours that's good enough for me.

Biggles: I think there are a few hurdles on Tavsan before funding is sort.
1. New Reserve study update. Extend Life of Mine beyond 4 years.
2. EIA permit leading to Internal Feasibility Study to be undertaken by Zenit late 2019
3. The Bank Finance will follow, probably sometime in 2020.
I might be wrong, but that is my understanding.
Great shame the Co. no longer give us the Gantt chart showing expected timings. Frightened to get it wrong isn't a good excuse imo.

3p everyday of week. Tarsvan funding confirmation by the bank would be a nice filet which no ones touched upon.

Biggles, Plas - I think the price could actually go even higher than 2.5p, maybe even 3p on good drill results and good production figures. But as always, beware the pull back. 2.5p+ would be a good place to be in preparation for this year's Salinbas results. imho it deserves to be there even without them!

I think you're right Biggles, but with drill results from Kizilcukur and Salinbas expected before the end of next month, we could go even higher if they reveal something a bit beyond what is expected. Funny how suddenly everything is coming together. Quarterlies next week as well, followed by Annual Report & Accounts.

Looking forward to another great Ariana with Attitude week. As you say Biggles, a bit of press coverage at this point would be great. I'm sure they will want to expedite the Salinbas drill results so they are ready for the AGM. What price will we be by the time of the AGM at the end of June?

From Twitter... "We have encountered abundant sulphide mineralisation in the porphyry. XRF data will tell us what metals this is associated with, but not gold, as that is usually encountered in concentrations below the detection limit of the device."
