17/4/2021 13:16 | anyway, with inflation starting to become a possible - no, probable - problem again hanging on to your gold shares seems a good bet. and AAU in particular. copper looks good, too, so an announcement of some finds in Cyprus would be good for us. 8p by October 2021. | ![]() backmarker
17/4/2021 13:11 | god knows how many Turkish lira to one bitcoin. I remember my first trip to Turkey in the late '70s, the paper money was so grotty you wouldn't have used it as toilet paper - which is pretty much what it was worth. haven't been there for a couple of years - though high on my list once Covid is properly under control - but I imagine the euro is still their currency of choice on the street. Turkey was the first place I came across that had ATMs with dual currency, you could get lira or euros. | ![]() backmarker

17/4/2021 00:45 | I don't think Turkey is heavily into Bitcoin. Apart from the initial tremor it shouldn't make much difference imho | ![]() charles clore

16/4/2021 19:42 | Thanksamillion (4989) I sincerely hope not. Once directors start using money to invest in other companies they are invested in it is not a good sign, imo, in fact time to reappraise the share. The difficulty I have in my mind at present is if something good comes into Kerim's sight where does he put it : AAU or PALM? Anyone have ideas on that whether it has been raised with him? | ![]() doinnuthing
16/4/2021 19:14 | I'm sure with this no communication stuff there is more to it... Something is afoot hopefully positive, had a couple of negative shockers lately but AAU is my old faithful I do believe Kerim will do his best for the business and us shareholders. I tend to have to much fair in these CEOs though. | ![]() lottsgold
16/4/2021 18:31 | Wouldnt surprise me if Ariana took a stake in that new Aussie Palm related listing. | ![]() thanksamillion

16/4/2021 16:43 | Any one got the full article? We are still waiting for news on that long-promised special dividend from AIM-listed Ariana Resources (AAU) resulting from the now completed corporate action under which the company sold off a large share of its Turkish assets to a three-way joint venture (including itself) to leave Ariana with a 23.5% share in the Red Rabbit project, with its gold-producing Kiziltepe plant, and the potentially much larger Salinbas project in Eastern Turkey. So has it all gone wrong? Er…..no. | ![]() renniks2016
16/4/2021 16:23 | Next Wednesday 21st was suppose to be Registration of Court Order and the effective date of Capital Reduction. That was the last milestone before being able to make the payout as I understand. Did the Court dates slip a tad? We can only guess but I suspect a few are tempted to buy in ahead of hoped for news next week. Fingers crossed. | ![]() plasybryn

16/4/2021 15:10 | The share price has just gone up. Kerim is my role model - he can do no wrong !!! Happy, Charles ? | ![]() jaf1948
16/4/2021 14:05 | Hopefully with gold starting to move up again that will give AAU a boost. Chartwise we need to get to 5p to make a shortterm higher high; we've already had the higher low after the 10 Mar low; which itself was a 3-wave down from the Sept-Oct highs. So a move above 5p might suggest we are at the start of another 5-wave up, possibly to around 8p, and taking 6 months. | ![]() backmarker
16/4/2021 13:05 | What I said in post 4949. We are aligned. | ![]() plasybryn
16/4/2021 12:20 | Plas - please understand that in no way am I criticising you. I think the company needs to stand up to the plate and fulfil its shareholder responsibilities and accountabilities instead of diverting them off to a fixed fee agency PR company with no teeth, no visible route back to management so that success can be measured and no apparent incentive to handle PR in a way that promulgates the company's achievements and future orospects. | ![]() charles clore
16/4/2021 12:02 | Charles 4969 exactly. To give YJ carte blanche over the PR is just lazy at best. What have they actually done to suggest that is in anyway a good idea for promoting all aspects of the company? I can't think of anything. | ![]() soulsauce |
