At the current $9.21 the bonds trade at 37% of par, indicating significant financial distress.

BTC needs to get over $100k and probably close to $110k just for ARB to break even.

Then they need to not be getting evicted from their data centre on 1 Jan 2025.

Or, alternatively, they need to find a super cheap data centre to where they can move their aged creaking BTC miners to.

Or they could just sell the BTC miners … but they’re only worth $9m and the bond debt is $40m - hence value breaks in the bonds!

Can you explain why?

Argo have just announced that they’re going to be evicted from their data centre on 31 Dec this year and so BTC revenue is going to be negligible from 1 Jan. Most people seem to think that Argo will be busy sometime soon but if you have some killer financial analysis then it would be helpful to understand?!

It doesn't matter what price BTC gets to now. Abr only have about a months left of mining. Then they need to find a new place for their kit and it is all but obsolete so it can't mine efficiently.

You do have to question the latest decision from Galaxy, just as dollar btc booms due to Trump victory and then bang. Even very competent posters here like JN who are pointing
to the negatives quite rightly, even said if btc gets around 100k arb would be ok.

Really.
