I recall ARB had to pay a deposit of the equivalent of 4 months electricity fees to the host, so they must have circa £4m there.Would be more interesting to know how much this would improve margins. It's also only for 2 of the data centres.

For me this month highlights what was always a problem with their business model as they do not control the price of BTC nor the hash rate.The last resort as in any business that is contracting is to lower costs which is a good thing as you say BG and should make it an attractive takeover.

Not the news I bought in for but good to see they can afford to buy their data centres with cash.
They'll own property then too, a tangible, physical asset. I like that.

mining revenue in September amounted to GBP1.1 million (August 2020: GBP1.49 million). Argo generated this income at an average monthly mining margin of approximately 37% for September (August 2020: 44%).

Bitcoin slightly higher as SEC chair praises blockchain

Bitcoin traded in the green on Monday as investors' confidence in blockchain technology increased following comments from Securities and Exchange Commission head Jay Clayton (pictured).

At an online event on Friday, Clayton commented that he is open to the possibility of tokenizing stocks. He added that the current regulatory framework may be sufficient for such projects as it is "time-tested" but also pointed out that the SEC wants to facilitate in the registration of exchange-traded products (ETFs). "If you're not trying to finance your network, you're not trying to give people a return on your network, it's probably not a security. But if what you're trying to do is finance your network with your token or provide people with a return for using the network with your token, you look at the traditional tested security, it's pretty clear it's a security," the SEC head said.

The price of Bitcoin increased by 0.89% over the past 24 hours to $10,680.

Thanks for the posts had stopped watching this one but took a look at btc and agree looking surprisingly bullish. Broken out and above the 200dsma,
Took a few on the SB's as these look far too cheap again imo.

As long as they keep stacking the bitcoins in the treasury, for the big moves ahead, then it should be in your portfolio

and yes dividends when BTC hits new highs would be a game changer

My prediction is that the results, with a record $10k plus btc price days above that $10k, profitability should be a record for ARB, too. Thus, with superb results we can expect a further drop in the share price after a tiny, miniscule rise. Why, WTF knows!
