Last time BTC was at 12k ARB was 12p. Would be nice to see that by the end of the week.

6p has been support and resistance in the last year so it will need BTC to make a move on $12k now.

The S2F model has a price target of ~$100k in 2021 but with potential over performance of around $280k. I am not greedy so $100k will do.

King Suarez,
Your calculation on price target is better 👍

Let's hope BTC flies to $25k or $35k... and ARB will use the extra profit to expand the business... and dividend payments...

Haha Brasso, thanks. I am underwater with a small position in ARB still, but the tide appears to be rising.. or falling should that be..

I look forward to you doing your magic with the numbers here over the coming months (hopefully years).

338,

I think your gap between the cash margin and profit after tax is too wide?

If the cash margin were $34m, then you deduct c$5m for depreciation and c$2m for admin = $27m profit before tax. Weighted average corp tax rate (UK/Canada) per note 12 annual results was 24% so deduct another $6.5m for profit after tax = $21.5m or £17m.

ARB also have un-utilised tax losses of c£9m carried forward to offset first.

Around 30p might be fair at that point - p/e approx 5 (low to reflect short-life of machinery, but with a little growth built in to mining rate/BTC price)?

Bitcoin up 2% -

My brother was urging me to buy Ethereum at around $6-8 dollars -

Didn't buy because it did not understand it at the time -

almost hit $1000 i think -

Possibly but I prefer to remain conservative. We have to assume that as BTC hits new highs there will be lots of new miners coming online and existing miners expanding capacity. ARB have a head start on the pack and can obviously use income to expand and upgrade equipment too.

Brasso3,
referring to price of bitcoin $20,000 and the cost of mining $5,700

ARB can generate a potential margin of $14,300 X 200 coins per month = $2,860,000 per month or £34 mln per year.

With that amount of margin, I think ARB can generate $13 mln or £10 mln of net profit annually

So, I think your 15p price target is too low...

Another big benefit of owning ARB shares as opposed to Crypto through an exchange is that you can hold it in an ISA and avoid any CGT. The leverage you get with a crypto miner is unknown but I expect on percentage terms we could be looking at 50% - 100% over the BTC price. I am targeting 15p here with BTC at $20k.

There will be a point in the next year or so where you will not be able to pick out $11k on a log chart.

If there was a crypto group here i would join it -

Looking at it it seems to me anything against the status quo i.e Fiat currency will be in demand -

i.e precious metals and alternative currency -

Should have a much better understanding in the weeks ahead -
