17/1/2022 22:55 | Warthog is worth reading, though he posts only occasionally. I can't think of any others. Those on the OTT board who used to regale us with Ellott chart analysis have given up - they don't even pretend to be able identify waves to fit the price movements in accordance with theory in retrospect now, let alone make 'infallible' predictions as they did when ARB was on the up. Not one, of course, predicted either top or the extent of the fall. Perhaps they have all departed on an extended cruise with Walter Mitty on his superyacht, or are living it up at his mid Texas yacht club. All sporting 'yachting hats' I trust. As I understood his posts, CN kept on buying ARB until he was too heavily committed for comfort, when disillusion set in and he sold out at a loss, and then bought in again and must be sitting on a further eye watering loss. He used to post at length on the Polymetal board (claiming to be a gold and gold trading expert, and very gung ho), but has not posted there for ages now. Possibly he became disillusioned with Poly and sold out of that as well. He seems to have only two mental settings, total conviction and total disillusion. It must make life very straightforward, never being troubled by uncertainty or doubt. The last I heard from Sniffer himself he had bought at 125 (I think), though he never explained his rationale. He was supportive of LC when LC poo pood my warning that no-one should be in a hurry to buy when ARB first fell to 80. He ignored the warning and bought, so presumably he now knows what a 'dead cat bounce' is. Whether their spirits will rise and they will start posting now that Tonga has joined El Salvador in the BTC camp remains to be seen. | 1knocker | |
