02/8/2018 08:28 | Why the drop this morning? We're not expecting a heavily discounted placing by any chance are we? Surely ARCM doesn't need that given its current prospects? | vatnabrekk
01/8/2018 18:38 | Frustrating but small volume. Big holders not sold today so nothing to worry about imo... | bobby1904
01/8/2018 17:47 | If today is anything to go by good news on drill could be met with another drop! Crazy reaction today? | jon1962

01/8/2018 15:41 | it will be really interesting to see how the share price responds along with upcoming drill results too. we appear way, way too cheap.... | ifthecapfits
01/8/2018 15:40 | Thanks for that - sounds a great story. Lots of positives there but liked "cash flow by the year-end in our view and this should serve to limit the potential for further dilution from an investor perspective." | ifthecapfits

01/8/2018 12:10 | Arc Minerals* (ARCM LN) – 5p, Mkt Cap £29 m – Site visit shows copper, cobalt mineralisation in drill core and in stockpile material BUY (Arc holds an effective 71.34% of Zamsort and around 73% of Casa Mining’s Akayanga project) Arc Minerals is pulling some very interesting copper mineralisation out of the ground in its 11,000m drill program. The drilling team were well into their second drill hole when we dropped in on the project last week and have now completed five holes totalling some 875m of diamond drilling with two rigs in operation. When we say dropped in, we mean after several days of travelling and six hours in the car from our refuge at the Royal Solweizi Hotel. Zambia is easy to drive, though the through traffic from the Copper Belt and the Congo does create significant congestion of slow-moving lorries. The journey to Zamsort is interesting and definitely worth the trouble. The villages on route are friendly and even the stern looking guards around First Quantum’s Trident mine, which is on the way, managed a friendly smile. Zamsort is a project which lies beyond the road beyond. More precisely, it lies another four hours on a dirt road beyond Trident, the last project on the Zambian Copper Belt. Fortunately the locals appear friendly even if they do think we are Chinese. We were struck on arrival at the project by the size of Zamsort’s small-scale copper, cobalt processing plant. The plant is substantially complete with first saleable production and cash flow expected this year. Plant capacity was initially planned at 15tph assuming a leach-tank residence time of 6 hours and recovery rates of 95%. This may be expanded to 45tph if residence times are decreased to 2 hours The plant should produce concentrate grades of 30% copper and 5% cobalt as a cobalt sulphide. There is plenty of leach tank capacity at 90tph but if plant capacity is increased then the team may need to upgrade crusher and ball mill. The Filter press has a capacity of 5tph though this is not a constraint as the material is concentrated at this end of the process. The plant is to be powered by a 450kw diesel generator though this would also need to be expanded to 1-2MW for further expansion. The team still need to install jig and screen to upgrade material and remove talc but the plant appeared to have all the major components installed A short 1.5km access road connects the plant to the proposed open pit The process plant is relatively simple as it is designed to treat simple oxide material to start and some selectivity in the mining should help to improve process plant performance to start. The ore in the open pit is highly weathered and oxidized for approximately the first 10m with a transitional zone for the next 7-10m. Sulphide ores are then thought to be present for the next 17-36m Inspection of the second drill hole showed no oxide with predominately bornite mineralisation. Bornite is a good copper carrying mineral to have with this mineralisation running 56m down the hole. Visual indications of the mineralisation appeared to get better with depth The core appeared to contain Chalcocite, chalcopyrite, bornite, Heterogenite and carolite and maybe also some gold At a capital cost of just $1.5m for the plant this is a budget operation though Zamsort as a company has spent more before Nick von Schirnding, CEO at ARC Minerals took control and started properly managing things. The plant should employ some 40-60 people There is a stockpile of some 10,000t of what looks like higher grade ore at site which possibly grades around 1-3% copper with some of this material estimated to run at 0.8% cobalt, though mainly 0.3% cobalt has been seen in screened material. Drilling Early explorers discovered Zamsort from an outcrop in the bush with an abundance of the ‘copper flower’ and other stunted trees marking its location. Hole 1 was drilled down to 200m with mineralisation down to 36m. The hole contains oxide copper, malachite and heterogenite, then a transitional zone moving down into copper in Chalcocite and bornite. Cobalt can be seen in XRF gun analysis which is not considered reliable enough for assaying in this case but is useful to see what is present Hole 2 hit mineralisation at 41m down hole and was still drilling in mineralisation at 55m when we left Scale The two holes are some 442m apart indicating reasonable scale to the project with the rest of the drill program expected to give a much better idea of the potential dimensions of the Zamsort prospect. In-pit sampling is said to show 11g/t of gold though this may also be elevated from some selectivity. The deposit is thought to be a semi-metasomatic, skarn type deposit with altered carbonate rocks and some high pressure amphiboles A faster Reverse Circulation rig is now being mobilised to start drilling in August The core has been logged with sample preparation underway before assaying. Assays should be returned in the next few weeks. A ground-penetrating radar trial survey has now been done and this should be rolled out to help work out the scale of the project and if other similar resources exist close to surface in the area. Conclusion: This is a very exciting time for investors in Arc Minerals. We cannot see what the grades are in the drill core but the presence of significant mineralisation in cores close to surface is indication of good potential. We do not know the scale of the project as yet though the drill program should be giving better indication as it goes along. The presence of a near-completed and simple process plant should earn cash flow by the year-end in our view and this should serve to limit the potential for further dilution from an investor perspective. It’s been a long road for Zamsort, quite literally, but the road should be paved with copper and cobalt concentrates from here. *SP Angel acts as nomad and broker to Arc Minerals | cpap man

01/8/2018 07:10 | Arc Minerals Ltd / Epic: ARCM / Market: AIM / Sector: Mining & Exploration 01 August 2018 Arc Minerals Kalaba Drilling Programme Update Arc Minerals ("Arc" or the "Company") is pleased to provide an update on the 11,000-metre drilling programme currently underway at the Kalaba prospect, part of its Zamsort Copper-Cobalt Project ("Zamsort"). The drilling programme is designed with the view to rapidly delineate a shallow oxide resource for the Commercial Scale Demonstration Plant ("CSD plant") that is currently in the process of being completed, as well as to establish a Maiden Mineral Resource Estimate at the Kalaba prospect. Highlights: · Visible copper and cobalt mineralisation identified · 5 holes completed, totalling 875 metres · Holes 6 and 7 currently being drilled · 2 diamond drill rigs in operation · Ground penetrating radar trial survey completed · Core logging and sample preparation underway · Reverse Circulation drilling rig being mobilised and will commence drilling in August Nick von Schirnding, Executive Chairman of Arc Minerals commented: "The drilling programme at the Kalaba prospect is progressing well. Even though we are still at an early stage in the programme and the first few holes drilled are intended to test the geological framework at Kalaba, visible Cu-Co mineralisation has been reported. The mineralised core from these holes are currently being prepared to be cut, sampled and sent to a laboratory for analysis. We will announce the first results from these mineralised cores as they become available. We have also just trialled a ground penetrating radar survey to assist in identifying mineralised structures for a more targeted drilling programme in the future. The results from this exercise will be correlated against the holes drilled and compared to test its effectiveness. Final road permits to transport the RC drill to site are in the process of being obtained and we anticipate mobilisation and commencement of drilling from this third drill rig in the next fortnight. We look forward to providing regular updates on this drilling programme." | cpap man
30/7/2018 12:19 | It's Consolidating around the new range 4.9-5 and with news less then weeks away it will work its way pass the 5-5.5p range and start heading towards the 6-7p range, as mentioned previously.. everything's in place just a matter of time. When it moves especially with the news we're expecting this isn't going to allow any decent buying volumes as we saw from our last rise :-) GL all | potential
27/7/2018 10:06 | agreed Bobby. My only regret is not doubling my holding at 2p. Comfortable with what I have though and not selling a bean at current price | 1savvyinvestor
27/7/2018 09:07 | I know the AIM mkt seems to have fallen asleep but anyone selling ARCM needs their head testing, especially into this weakness. I cannot think of many more certain multibagger stocks than this. I would sell almost anything else if cash is needed!! | bobby1904

24/7/2018 10:40 | All time high breakout on volume, watch for the backtest as a buying op imo 7-8p target. free stock charts from uk.advfn.com | ileeman
23/7/2018 22:55 | Looks sets to continue move up ~ 10p easily possible short term given what's going on. Those familiar with MARL will remember the metoric rise due it's gold project which ARCM's CASA Project bares many of the same hallmarks of. Genuine multi-million oz gold deposits are rare in the junior market and hence attract the attention of buy outs. Feels like this is still under the radar from the masses as none of the copper cobalt project is priced in yet. Interesting times and this should soon attract a big following | saw89 |
