Big wow wow, big wowzers. Yawn ! |
Some of the ramping on LSE and twitter is comedy gold bruv. So they've hit medium to low grade oxides, big wow wow. There's zero proof of any continuity so little to get excited about right now, IMHO. Especially since Midnight Sun just hit it out the Park with oxides which are far, far far superior grade !!All imho dyor!! |
Good news at Cheyeza east, looks like it’s much bigger than first thought.. based upon these announced results, further drilling will be planned as the first phase drill program appears to have intercepted economic grades of copper. Meanwhile two other targets, Lumbeta, Muswema were drilled down to 746. 775. 977 metres, that’s some depth, Cheyeza went to 413, very interesting they think the sulphides could be downdip at Cheyeza. |
Fo77y, these are the Ministry’s requirements for the grant of a large scale mining license:
There’s clearly been a lot of information provided that we have yet to see. |
That would be amazing, but as Fozzy says and according to NvS it may be a while yet. Stands to reason that legacy Anglo data has been used to build a resource estimate and this will probably still be under NDA as pre JV T&C. |
Anyone else sense a sad old lonely troll presence echoing around ;-D |
I don't think we'll see an MRE for a while yet, Nick alluded to that in one of the IC's. Still lots more proving up to be done before we'll get one imo. The main take for me is that the mapping data is proving to be accurate and that we are getting positive results with most drills, would be nice to hit some longer, higher grades and I'm confident we will. |
Ortus, Anglo are putting out a trading update on Thursday. There’s an outside chance that they might declare a MRE in that imo. |
Might be prudent to manage our expectations with a resource estimate at this stage. We can take comfort in knowing such data exists in order to gain a mining license, which in itself is incredible for such a low MCAP company, but it seems the regs don't require the MRE to be made public . |
It's fair to say an MRE may follow in due course, but why call me an utter clown and tell me to watch and learn when I said an MRE won't land last week....ROFLMFAO! |
Clearly I’m disappointed that we have yet to see the Mineral Resource estimate that must have underpinned the grant of the large scale mining license, but it is clear from the RNS that Arc have had access to Anglo’s historic drilling data in the 1970s so that might follow in due course. |
What happened to the MRE's m8? Done another classic 'Backtrack ' is it bruv? ROFLMFAO |
The sulphides in KCDD002 hit a 1.5 meter interval at 66m for 0.47 % Cu, then more well deep at 570 meters but super low grade at 0.2 % Cu.Nothing economic here regarding sulphides IMHO dyor!! |
Link to interview in here:
News should continue to flow over the next few weeks and months with three more assays to come, Anglo’s drilling plans for 2025, the possible grant of two more large scale mining licenses, and another drilling campaign on the Virgo licenses in Botswana. |
Oxides plus "Low grade sulphide at Nkwazhi " Nothing to intrest me here at the moment but good luck! All imho dyor! |
Decent set of results, gradually proving up that each drill target/area are viable. Encouraging that sulphides have been located also, still waiting on more assays to come back from the lab so would expect another update in the not too distant future. 2nd phase drilling being planned as we speak. All in all, a positive update, i'm also liking the layout of the update, with the maps to refer to. |
GLA, especially Lth. |
Sulphides are the basis of all the elephant sized copper discoveries and some of the grades are better than the average at Sentinel’s Tier 1 mine nearby. Now for the interview but what a great start to the day. |
![](https://images.advfn.com/static/default-user.png) Assay Results Extends Copper Mineralisation
Arc Minerals (LSE:ARCM), an exploration company forging partnerships to discover and develop Tier 1 copper deposits, is pleased to provide an update on exploration activities at its Joint Venture with a subsidiary of Anglo American in Zambia.
Highlights
· Diamond Drill Hole KCDD002 - 40.60m @ 0.61% Cu from 22.25m
o Incl. 7.70m @ 1.72% Cu from 26.75m, or
o 12.75m @ 1.20% Cu from 22.25m
· Mineralisation confirmed 1.5km from Cheyeza East Oxide Occurrence
· Both Oxide and Sulphide Mineralisation Intersected
· Six holes completed for a total of 4,016m drilled at four targets
· Deepest hole drilled down to 977.40m
· Sulphide Mineralisation confirmed at Nkwazhi
Nick von Schirnding, Executive Chairman of Arc Minerals, commented:
"I am delighted to report that the first assay results of the Anglo JV confirm additional near-surface copper mineralisation at the Cheyeza target. The newly drilled mineralisation is similar to historic assays in terms of both grade and thickness and is over 1.5 km away from Cheyeza. Work is now underway to identify further potential drilling targets at Cheyeza to test the extents of sulphide mineralisation." |
