25/10/2021 10:06 | I agree Mr5k she's a serial NED. However I want her to be in position with CEO to be ACCOUNTABLE for results derived from decisions she's been involved with. What's happening is the opposite possibly epitomizes her serial NED existence. To further add to my fears is when she's gone the CEO will ensure a wet lettuce is appointed Chair giving him an easy ride. My preferred solution now would be to appoint John Higgins Chair as he is a current NED there and smart | powerp2
23/10/2021 15:00 | The company was a shambles and now at least has some coherence. I'm glad the chair went as I struggled to see what her experience bought to the party other than being part of the NW mafia. My fear is that their customer base has been hammered by C19 and will be screwed by more austerity. Levelling up will take years and that assumes a level of govt competence hitherto missing. The vouchers business should benefit as employers look for ways to engage with employees disconnected by remote or hybrid working. | mr5k
22/10/2021 15:59 | I don't blame you My pension Final Salary Pension and is just about enough to but 2 pints where I liveI briefly held shares in Appreciate making a small profit Would not invest again Got my share problems with COPL and FINABLRNice talking to youHope you can sell Appreciate shares at a profit | 11toes
22/10/2021 15:32 | I don't think PJ holds a substantial number of shares anymore and lives in Zurich. An Irish guy called O'Docherty runs the show and when the Chair retires and he's elliptical appoint a poodle he will call the shots. For me the jury is still out in him. I can't decide if he's s genius or an idiot. This year's results are critical hence I'm upset with the Chair s timing in retiring. PJ was never going to be popular at Everton as he was a well known Red with season tickets at Anfield for years. He had terrible advice on this and other stuff over the years | powerp2
22/10/2021 15:05 | Peter Johnson used to come to where I was based from the head office trying to tell everyone what to doNot very well likedHe is around 80 now and still has a lot of powerNot liked in football circles at my club Everton or at Tranmere both of which he has owned in the past | 11toes
22/10/2021 10:30 | How are the CEO and FOR viewed? | powerp2
22/10/2021 10:29 | Interesting - they claim everyone is happy and say so in internal surveys | powerp2
22/10/2021 09:51 | Better company with their pension people than as an employer as I found out | 11toes
22/10/2021 09:50 | Try working for this company 20 years ago and everyone made redundant | 11toes
21/10/2021 17:36 | Something needs to happen. The first thing I want to see us a clean set of annual results without extraordinary costs which have become the norm unacceptably | powerp2
21/10/2021 15:49 | You would have thought so, yes. Equally a similar question is you would also expect institutional support to step in here too but the last two holdings rns were Premier Miton and Investec reducing. | cfro
21/10/2021 13:23 | Given the current price and outlook and opportunities per the management surely PE will be running the rule over this company? | powerp2
22/9/2021 22:40 | Why is the DCF reliable? Replayed from Simplys website Share Price vs. Fair Value Calculations = Stable Book Value * ROE = £0.076 *63.3%£ 0.048Book Value of Equity per ShareMedian Book Value from the past 5 years.£ 0.076Discount Rate (Cost of Equity)See below8.9%Perpetual Growth Rate5-Year Average of GB Long-Term Govt Bond Rate0.9% An important part of a discounted cash flow is the discount, at 8.91% Then look at excess returns currently fair value is 50% higher. See simply Wall street for full explanation. To me It seems a much more detailed approach than someone on here saying I think it's good value. | muffster
21/9/2021 14:19 | From today's trades looks like Premier Miton is still offloading, supplying liquidity for all the buy demand.Should fly to 35-40p easily when they stop selling. Went to that earlier this year, same EPS forecast for this FY but now much more certain in the bag. | boonkoh
21/9/2021 12:25 | Someone knew something buying all of those Premier Miton shares! I wonder who it was | powerp2
21/9/2021 11:41 | Why is Simply Walk Street fair value calculations reliable? | boonkoh
21/9/2021 09:38 | Apparently 50% below fair value, according to Simply Wall Street . Great price to buy in | muffster
21/9/2021 08:33 | Encouraging. I'm concerned that Chairwoman leaving just when driving delivery is essential. The replacement MUST be au fair with the business/market and not appointed by a CEO wanting a push over | powerp2
21/9/2021 08:24 | Really good trading update.Corporate billings are on a tear; IMO likely to increase as companies need creative ways to retain staff with soaring wage inflation and staff shortages.Redemption | boonkoh
21/9/2021 07:35 | And breathe.. Quite a bit better performance than i was honestly expecting. Q2 showing good momentum over a poor Q1 which is a relief. Christmas savings revenues finishing down by -14%, so no improvement there and paypoint deal yet to really get started, plus the chairwoman stepping down. Still plenty of questions for the board to hopefully answer today. | cfro
17/9/2021 21:00 | bonkoh, according to Hardman research that Paypoint rolls out from the end of this month and will be ready in time for the important Xmas season mr5k | mr5k
17/9/2021 13:58 | This senior executive team definitely needs more robust, challenging NEDs | powerp2 |
