11/10/2019 00:45 | Graphene may be in its infancy, but after almost two years holding AGM shares I'm rather disillusioned about getting graphene, graphene nanoplatelets, or graphene cones, Genables or whatever into the market. The response I got to an enquiry about the use of Genables' anti-corrosion and anti-foulant properties in paints, (I live near the sea) indicated that Wilton comes across as very backward. I then looked at the James Briggs site to see if anything was happening there. The only reference I could find to graphene was a news item in August 2016. There was no reference regarding graphene in any of their products. Briggs image was very much "we come from the North" and we're very old. AGM actually has far better stock exchange publicity than its industry profile on the web. The quicker the company moves to somewhere vibrant (try Germany) or gets acquired by someone abroad (which seems to be how the Chinese work with graphene companies in Manchester). | fp optimist
09/10/2019 21:00 | Graphene is still in its infancy but AGM are are quietly infusing it into the countless applications it was destined for. Strengthening the many materials that are already out there. The market is massive and it's only a matter of time until AGM takes off along with Graphene. | marno17
05/8/2019 15:07 | red Read the header on the other thread. AGM have issued fake news in the past which was reported to the FCA. The fact was never reported by RNS but the share price went on a big slide and then the CEO left. He was the one lying, but the guy from the IPO group was well aware too which is disgraceful but was all about looking after mates. Back then the tech looked difficult to scale up and they kept on saying they have not proven it as yet, I haven't checked in recent times to see if it's proven top work yet. There was a CPI tender for the synthetic type of graphene and even though the CPI built the kit for AGM there was never any announcement that they had won that tender which potentially means they could not meet the specification in the tender. | superg1

Genable® is a unique metal-free additive that transforms coatings and paints enabling them to uniquely withstand aggressive corrosion in automotive, heavy industry and harsh marine environments. The results from over 3,000 hours of typical vigorous environment testing can be seen in a video on the company's website here. These results demonstrate the long-term structural resilience that AGM's products provide against corrosion, establishing a new market standard. The development re-affirms the Company's compelling position and potential within the £8.1bn global coating markets and follows its recent announcement that James Briggs Limited ("JBL"), Europe's largest consumer chemicals businesses, intends to bring a new range of aerosol automotive paint primers containing AGM graphene to market, setting new levels of corrosion protection in the aerosol automotive paint market. Jim Miller, JBL's Commercial Director commented "The 2 year development collaboration between JBL and AGM has resulted in our first products coming to fruition for the automotive market. Initial feedback from the market is very positive, with customers keen to see innovative products with genuine substantive performance improvements, which these products deliver through utilisation of AGM's graphene dispersion technology." The momentum that AGM's proprietary Genable® 3000 graphene technology has achieved has helped drive industry wide recognition of AGM's expertise as an innovation leader in the coatings industry. Reflecting this, the Company has secured a nomination as a finalist in the Materials Performance Corrosion Innovation Awards 2019.
