11/3/2015 16:51 | I am in GRPH and in HAYD with a sharp rise recently. AGM doesn't seem worth bothering. News is about people appointed not profits. | petewy

28/1/2015 10:33 | You only have to look at the annual report to assess the level of risk in developing a new material. BUT if the development is successful, the share price is likely to rise significantly | selborne_edge

29/11/2014 10:06 | Grph have managed to apply graphene to drilling fluids and are now selling all they can produce also in the battery market helping to make batteries with a short charge time and longer range using graphene and water filtration using graphene the same ce and fd had great success with their last company floated now valued at 1 billion. Grph has revenue of 50 million this year. I will buy a few more here when they have the same revenue. Grph market cap is only 1 X revenue crazy with its growing revenue. | wskill
28/11/2014 10:22 | Gold bugs buy sieves, shovels and picks to find the precious metal that is hard to find, whilst there is plenty of graphene around; just not enough applications at the moment to cause high volume usage. In the analogy above, you're not going to make money selling sieves, shovels and picks until there is a use for the graphene that's made. And it certainly isn't in short supply. So ... the process and the IP rights to it aren't worth much right now. I'll continue watching this stock, but won't be buying for a long while yet. | andrewbaker
28/11/2014 08:40 | Hi M.T. yes your maths on the H&S is spot on. These and their inverse are amongst the most reliable patterns according to Bulkowski, who has backtested and found about 70% of correctly id'd patterns go to target. His website is worth a peruse if you have the time. AGM share price has to pull back quite a bit to escape the current downtrend, but once the price meets some of its moving avgs it might find a consolidation area. Interesting that last weeks signal on cci seems to have been correct, so far. All the best | bamboo2
28/11/2014 08:29 | My various stops have all been triggered so I am out for now. Although it might fall further, the spread is too great to reopen another bet, upwards or downwards, until it feels likely that the share price is going to move strongly enough to quickly outweigh the spread. So for now it goes back onto my watchlist (still with possible further downbets in mind) while I trade other stocks. Good luck to all who go long or short from this level. | m.t.glass
27/11/2014 23:41 | My initial downbet was on 26 Sept when the 395p support level (17/3, 22/5) looked to have been broken. It had supported several bounces but the peaks of each bounce along it got progressively lower, and that's what caught my eye. As it happens, I guess that 395 is what you regard as the neckline of the H&S(?) but I was merely viewing it as horizontal support and hadn't even noticed the H&S Theoretically yes, the fall from the H&S if seen as that, would perhaps be expected to be to 280p - (510-395 = 115, 395-115 = 280) at which level it did kinda level out. But the Nov 5th Results statement appears to have determined where it went next ;o) The reason I was watching AGM at all was because I tend to watch most ipo's, knowing that so many of them falter once the initial investors see it dropping back from an early peak and fail to up their stakes. Had I noticed the H&S I would have been looking to close my downbet around the 280p level - but I hadn't taken note of it so hadn't planned an exit there - so I was luckily still short when the Results had their effect, | m.t.glass
27/11/2014 20:28 | Thanks for the reply M.T. Interesting. I'm quite into charts at the moment. Was your short inspired by the head and shoulders, with its head in April? If so it has overshot its target of about 280 by a considerable margin. | bamboo2
27/11/2014 09:56 | bamboo2. My own downbets are phased ones, each very small and each with its own predetermined exit arrangements. If the share price ticks up a little, some of my bets will close. If it rises further, the remainder of my bets will close. No sweat. I am a fan of graphene - I do believe it will revolutionise many areas of various industries. Maybe AGM will capture some valuable deals for itself and the share price will soar. In which case I look forward to trading the rise. | m.t.glass
27/11/2014 08:51 | M.T. Looking at the short figs, they have peaked at the end of Sept at around 200,000. Now down to about 100k. There are a number of earlier spikes on the chart, where I guess shorts were opened then closed, as the downtrend gathered speed. As holders stops have been hit, this has added to momentum. On this basis it is hard to suggest that there is something wrong at the company, just a lack of buyers to absorb the excess stock caused by short sellers. It is amazing how the value of a company can be affected by external factors largely beyond their control. No position. Cheers. | bamboo2
26/11/2014 09:34 | Ipo price was 155p. I remain short. | m.t.glass
25/11/2014 22:38 | Can't remember the IPO price, but must be near. CCI suggests this is a buy. Lets see what happens over the comming weeks. | bamboo2
25/11/2014 15:29 | I may buy some when it gets under 50p which will be a more realistic valuation if a company years away from serious revenue let alone profits. | rob67
18/11/2014 13:05 | The company hosted an Investors Site Visit at its premises yesterday. Today we see a big fall on big volume. Coincidence? There are no indications that the meeting prompted attendees to rush out and buy. | m.t.glass
18/11/2014 09:31 | Tumbling again. Has now lost half its value in 8 weeks. | m.t.glass |
