03/8/2017 10:08 | Sneaky little rerating going on. Might be worth a top up. | encarter
16/7/2017 23:25 | I notice the urgency of MiFID II compliance was mentioned in the Times this weekend and with a Dr Andreja Jarc, from Meinberg actively supporting APC in presenting our offering can only be a good thing... | playful
27/6/2017 11:17 | No conspiracy theories rinson - I do not subscribe to those. I have made observations in passing before about their wafer thin margins and the precarious state of their finances - but certainly no conspiracy theories! | kemche
27/6/2017 08:38 | Hmmmm indeed! Chairman buying recently, large reportable shareholders continually buying large amounts and still the share price declines? Any conspiracy theories kemche? Before you say it,hardly the run up to a placing. | rinson
26/6/2017 20:52 | Hmmmm......... | kemche
22/6/2017 17:57 | S.T this will get you very excited... | playful
22/6/2017 10:28 | Extract from RNS 28 July 2014. APC is also pleased to report that it has reached an agreement regarding the acquisition of a 10 per cent. interest in Open Energy Market Limited ("OEM"), the UK's first autonomous online energy procurement platform for corporate energy users, for £0.2 million in cash. Subject to certain performance milestones, APC has the option to purchase a further 15 per cent. of OEM, at the same valuation, over the next 12-18 months. OEM's online procurement platform, which will be marketed and sold as a service offered by APC's Minimise Solutions business, provides energy buyers direct access to the UK's top 14 gas and electricity providers offering an efficient and fully transparent way to manage their energy procurement. OEM's customer base includes both public and private sector companies and the technology is proven to generate total energy cost savings of between 2 per cent. and 10 per cent. over traditional procurement methods. Looks like this could pay us back in spades!! | golddigger1
20/6/2017 23:49 | We have a new Sales Manager for our RF and Microwave division announced today… It is worth remembering (I had almost forgotten) that we also own 15% of Open Energy and according to their web site they are the UK’s leading business energy buying platform, which is basically an automated marketplace where commercial buyers save on energy bills. I would imagine we can receive a nice referral fee as well and the recent launch of Open Water can only be a good thing. | playful
15/6/2017 10:27 | Today is #NationalCleanAirDay (search twitter) and all councils up and down the country are promoting this and accept its importance, clearly demonstrates the addressable market for our clean air kit... | playful
07/6/2017 14:08 | playfull: I had read that article before and I agree that IOT will eventually become a major opportunity and the buzzword for manufacturing companies eager to attach their products to that label. I have also read an article which agrees but says that the timeframes for major adoption are still quite away down the line. The problem is that there is no single App that can handle everything so a plethora of apps exist for every different application. Until a singular App exists that one can use to, boil the kettle, draw the curtains, adjust the heating/air con, water the garden etc etc it just ain't going to take off for the masses. Not my original thoughts but a panel of so called industry experts. However APC appears to be in the arena and that's great but the original distribution appears to be doing well according to the Interims so we should be set for a good year. Another holdings RNS yesterday, that's 2 or 3 in the last month all from directors, II's and PI's and still the share price falls contrary to most companies when they announce that kind of thing. Any ideas why anyone? | rinson
06/6/2017 17:48 | One of the industries that stands to gain the most from the IoT is the electronics industry. Electronics manufacturers have been connecting devices and appliances for years – the now ubiquitous availability of in-home WiFi and connectivity points is creating an environment that enables devices to constantly be connected into the cloud to send operational, warranty and service data. It’s easy to see what a huge opportunity the connected home is creating for the electronics industry. Worth a read... Bodes well for APC | playful
25/5/2017 13:57 | Brownie: I have been invested here for a long time through thick and thin but never posted on an ADVFN board so excuse me if what I say has been previously said. I would have thought that with the changes made and the internal review now complete we would have been generating cash and to some extent the interims qualified this. You say you are, 'not surprised at a small fundraising.' Is this because you believe the reported increase in orders is continuing faster than indicated in the trading update? If for any other reason I would be quite concerned so I tend to agree with you. | golddigger1
24/5/2017 21:08 | I'm not surprised at a small fund raising. In fact smaller than I thought but no doubt a further sign that we have turned a corner here is the fact that this investment has been done "in house". There a big story brewing here around the companies direct exposure to the Internet of things but clearly not in the price yet. | brownie69
24/5/2017 14:22 | Wonder what they know that we don't? | rinson
24/5/2017 14:12 | Rockridge significantly increase their stake announced today to 11.3 % | simon templar qc
18/5/2017 10:08 | There were some nice replies to the post below. It is abundantly clear from the latest fundraise that the company is working on wafer thin margins and therefore the constant recourse to further fundraising. But I am sure there will be some insightful responses to this. kemche - 11 Apr 2017 - 10:08:52 - 629 of 659 APC Technology PLC set for growth on profits. - APC Net liabilities at 31.8.16 £3.527m Net liabilities at 28.2.17 £3.413m An "improvement" of £114k. Cash used in operations £175k. Cash at 28.2.17 of £244k( excluding borrowing of £2.552m Another fundraising? | kemche
18/5/2017 09:15 | Got to be good news that its the insiders who supported this and not at a discount to current price. Looks like working capital as the business ramps up having turned the corner? | brownie69
18/5/2017 09:00 | Message received business is improving. I suspect Q4 is normally their strongest month anyway, but they do send a clear message this morning: ABN Commercial Finance will extend the working capital facilities that it provides to the Company to complement this equity investment and to further support growth. The update to the Mifid rules takes effect in January, so I think Rinson is correct and the sudden need for extra WC is to meet demand from our APC-Time division. | playful
18/5/2017 08:07 | If having difficulties directors would not put money in not the bank extend facilities. Possibly quite the opposite with the distribution division ramping because of the new timing directive? | rinson
18/5/2017 07:46 | Yet more fund raising - Message received business is having difficulties - Other views ? | pugugly
12/5/2017 16:04 | Bloody nuisance.. | playful
12/5/2017 15:22 | I suspect the serial seller is back but why we can only speculate. | rinson
12/5/2017 09:58 | Yes, for the time being anyway. | playful
12/5/2017 09:49 | Yes mms willing to deal so stock readily available | battlebus2 |
