12/5/2017 09:21 | Me too and again this morning which incidentally is showing incorrectly as selling. | playful
12/5/2017 08:58 | Good to hear playful, I've been adding on weakness. | battlebus2
12/5/2017 08:51 | Filtronic Shares Jump As Full Year To Beat Its Expectations Potentially good news for us too as we do business with Filtronic. | playful
02/5/2017 16:40 | The ADVFN "trades" are simply guesses by ADVFN's reporting software based on price and should not be relied upon, not for APC or any other stock. IMHO its pointless trying to guess price movements in future, based on whether more buys than sells have gone through because without knowing the size of the MM's stock held on their books. This is compounded by late reporting of larger trades. | brownie69
28/4/2017 09:30 | Just had a topup, and it's showing now as a sell?? just typical of misinformation that's carried out yet again, to the completely unwashed, the trades today look dismal... can anyone confirm another buy other than mine at 09.19am,, I do suspect they maybeare sells though..?..gla.lth's | abergele
26/4/2017 12:23 | My feeling is next leg up soon. | simon templar qc
20/4/2017 10:39 | Looking at APC's line card, many of their principle franchises are in the USA. Very recent improvements in sterling exchange rates are working in our favour. Component sales in H1 £5.9m. Say £4m cost - a 2% favourable swing in exchange would have increased NP by £80k!!!!!! | rinson
18/4/2017 18:32 | These pauses are just the ticket for a steady rise in my opinion here, The day panned out quite well considering all the news to digest. The 50dma is just touching /crossing the 150dma,I'm not certain at what price the 50 will cross the 200dma, but a week or two will show us,my guess would be when the shareprice is at about 8.6p..these are my slide rule figures, and with no bad news to come ,I would'nt be surprised... Trades today are not showing the buys, but a mix of trades tell me that we had 256202 of buys against sells of 299288,,, or if anybody can tell me different,I should be gratefull,,hence no drop.. breaking down the last 4 days trading, and I see 170k of ?, and a buy dressed as a sell,,so I think about 350k more sells than buys..was that part f the drop from 8p or just the level bar... gla .lth's | abergele
13/4/2017 16:12 | Re Kemches post. I dont think its the absolute size of the improvement thats the issue, not for me at least. Its the fact that the company has turned the corner and gone cash flow positive, plus it has a cost base thats appropriate now after the restructuring. | brownie69
13/4/2017 08:09 | Jailbird: Yes he was right last time but he has said it or alluded to it overtime he posts so got to be right sometimes by law of averages. He tells it like it is but maybe would do well to accept things can change with time. APC has turned a massive corner by taking the medicine and cutting costs. No hiding place from here on and business has to profitably grow. If this happens cash situation should improve and there is around £4M in the tank to support this growth through the bank arrangement. I believe if a cash call happens for acquisition then it has to be taken on merit. Some big hitters on board now would need to be sure their investment was secure before agreeing. I hope this is an intelligent enough reply for you but only my opinion. | rinson
13/4/2017 07:12 | Kemche's post 629He was right last time. Any intelligent reply from anyone here Good luck... why would you buy if a placing could be coming.. the balance sheet is not positive is it?You will not see 10p if there is | jailbird
13/4/2017 07:02 | Added yesterday, and will continue to buy into dips. | brownie69
11/4/2017 19:37 | Still above all the dma's,no reason for the trend to change..gla added more myself this morning.. | abergele

11/4/2017 16:19 | Just one example of where our future growth will be coming from.. | playful
11/4/2017 14:05 | Summary of Financial Performance "Overall revenue for the period was £8.3m (2016 H1: £9.5m), representing a decrease of 12.6% over the corresponding period in 2016. This drop is primarily attributable to the residual revenue generated in 2016 H1 from the end of the multi-year Morrison’s contract, which contributed £1.6m in that period. Excluding this fall in Lighting Technology sales, the other core design-in distribution businesses rose to £5.9m in the period, an increase of 20.3%, over the same period last year as they capitalised on a particularly strong order book for high-reliability components coming into the period." Exports rose to £717,000 compared to £520,000 in first half 2016 an increase of circa 50% | simon templar qc
11/4/2017 10:22 | Not surprised to see profits taken this morning, I've only recently bought back in, held a few years ago and did very well indeed so can see the improvement and potential here so will be adding on weaknesses like today. Long term this has a great chance of a major rerating. DYOR ETC. | battlebus2
11/4/2017 10:20 | ST, from a HNW and "professional" investor's viewpoint, is there anything in post 629 that you factually disagree with? | kemche

11/4/2017 10:00 | brownie, Same here, not a lot of selling to substantiate the fall. | simon templar qc
11/4/2017 09:55 | b69 - good news! "messy seller" now out! Below my expectations so out for now - bought Feb 17 at 6p Remains on watch GL - SJ | sailing john
11/4/2017 09:41 | Well overall my interpretation of the results are that they are pretty much as expected and hoped for. Solid margins at a time when lots of companies are blaming price rises on imported goods to to GBP demise. Costs cut significantly. Cash beginning to get generated (excluding exceptionals. March showing record bookings (I'm assuming booking are orders yet to be delivered? Grateful for any insight) All in all I'm a happy holder and will top up if these fall any further. Just looks like a messy seller out there. Hopefully he will get cleaned out soon. | brownie69 |
