Can sell 15k online at 63.5, so it seems the MM's are on the bid looking for stock.

Zoro- I bought some at 90p.
We need to be a bit patient, await news and ride out this bumpy ride.
I remain confident as the fundamentals have not changed.

Steve, plenty of market damage is possible given how extended on the upside the US market is on the longer chart. Dow could fall another 5,000 and still be in a long term uptrend.I have no intention of calling a bottom here as many investors are over extended on margin I will bet. Some of the large popular AIM stocks are getting crucified yet only seeing their prices of a few months ago. They could fall further as margins unwind.I have a small short spread bet on the Dow from 26k as a hedge only. It nowhere near matches paper losses on my portfolio but it gives comfort that I can pay myself something while I sit pat on AOR and others. No point selling any illiquid stocks for sentiment reasons as I could not get any kind of price for volume anyway and cannot time "in and out" moves profitably!

How long will this market correction go on for ? The drops have been harsh across the board for all the stock I am holding. When do we expect a bounce from the market ?

It would be idiotic to come out with 'positive news' when the market is correcting because of a collective derangement. I don't think our Management team are that stupid. Clever money will be buying these dips.
Given the potential upside here we've actually had very low volatility here. This is to all intents and purposes an option and should trade like one.

Chart simply reverting to 200sma. Which suggests that it was overbought at 90p. Would be nice to have some positive news, though.

LOL if anything we could do with a stockmarket crash to give a few heart palpitations to a few CEOs, hedge fund managers , billionaires

Then we can sell them some state of the art cardio gear

All things are possible, Andy, and likely a mix of all factors. I sincerely see no stock related reason here. Small illiquid stocks are ALWAYS magnified in their moves in bullish as well as bearish modes.

AOR is off about 20% from its recent stable area of 75p. Many stocks are off more, look at LTG for one and, as someuwin says, the market cap to recover for a billion pound boy like that is much more than our puny value to recover :)

We may go down more if the yanks finally sell the Dow off as they should have done (held up only by Apple pretty much!) but I have my big stake in AOR at an average 45p so I’ll run with it. The story is compelling and people are not about to cease needing heart and cardio surgery any time soon.

Bones,

To be honest I hadn't noticed the sudden plummet in the AIM index, which is around 6% in the last month looking at the chart.

In percentage terms the recent fall here is greater than the AIM index.

I wonder if the unfreezing of some Beaufort accounts might account for some of the selling of AIM stocks in general?

Spot on Bones.

And as I've suggested before, a 25% fall in AOR only needs £3m buying to get it back up.

Whereas, a 25% fall in FEVR needs £1,000m of inflow to rise again.

Just to add, it's likely that punters in the bigger AIM stocks like PRSM, VRS, FEVR and other popular ones were margined and may well have been bailing in a panic. Smaller stocks get sold to cover the margin calls.Just looked again and see that PRSM and FEVR had both lost 20% - 30% in the last week! Even ASOS is off nearly 20% in that time. No wonder smaller AIM stocks are being rocked.

Andy, that is way off the mark IMO. They raised all they wanted 4 months ago. AOR is not alone in having its stock cratered this last month. Even the superstar VRS is off 20% and the biggies like FEVR, ASOS, PRSM.The whole AIM index has dropped 5% just this week and it is off 10% in a fortnight since its highs which it had been chugging along at for a few months. You can't isolate a stock when the whole market tanks so this is when I would buy, not decide not to!I have stacks of AOR already but I've added 25k this week (average 66p after today's 5k). Sure it may go lower with sentiment but I like to buy when the crowd sells :)

Is there a placing coming?

Quite often a price drops suddenly, whilst a placing is being touted around the brokers.

With the market doing badly at the moment, in general terms, it would not surprise me.
