18/12/2018 10:50 | In the Interim Results on 22nd November I see they state that - The first yarns are due to be produced later this month ie. November. Presumably the yarn is merely the raw material to manufacture the patches & grafts. Ignoring heart valve development, which is longer term, some patches & grafts may already be in or close to production. With Elast -Eon's proven use, Regulatory Compliance may be with us in a shorter time frame than many are expecting. | nextlink
13/12/2018 13:52 | Looks like a leak, expecting a rns tomorrow or Monday, anyway, good progress, holding long term for exciting developments | ny boy
13/12/2018 12:07 | Looking strong today! | someuwin
13/12/2018 11:00 | There is a downtrend being broken. Tends to auger well for AOR. It came down on nothing , it should go back up on nothing. News could/would simply be a bonus 400p was the target for July 2019. Once we get into the new year and there is newsflow/reiteration of that target it should concentrate minds especially if we stay at this ridiculous level. 50p to 400p (the 'potentially conservative' target) | the stigologist
12/12/2018 17:58 | As an extra bonus our dimwitted 'friend' Zero(BrainCells)1979 has moved on to pastures new so we don't have to tolerate his imbecility on here. | the stigologist
12/12/2018 17:55 | Looks like sellers exhausted. Chart starting to look better after having broken down (on small volume) through a couple of key moving averages | the stigologist
12/12/2018 17:23 | Yes, langland, as i mentioned a few posts back, i believe there could be an element of lobbying going on with the publication of that interview. As you say, that comment by McKenna about discussions with the Scottish govt was intriguing. He was also heavily pushing the polymer technology and saying the bovine use in devices (still used today) is way overdue for succession. The big issue is today's regulatory regimes that are so detailed as to cause delays in getting things into humans where they are needed. His story of the early days where the wife of a surgeon would sew the thing together overnight for implantation the next day cracked me up!Hopefully, after keeping their powder dry during this ongoing tough bear market for small companies, Aortech will have a few weapons to unleash on its shareholders over the next few months. | bones
12/12/2018 16:53 | Unless, of course, there is some news to come. We still have not heard anything about the potential for a grant from the Scottish government. I was reminded of this by the interview in which McKenna said he worked closely with the SG. | langland
12/12/2018 16:33 | Yes, there was a lot of selling earlier today (probably a capitulating holder which these bear markets encourage) and the bid held up very well given that volume. Looks like an opportunistic buyer is hoovering them up. | bones
12/12/2018 16:20 | A flurry of buying ticks it up. | someuwin
08/12/2018 00:05 | Landy90, I have pasted the specific URL of that interview in the header under “Aortech in the Press”. | bones
07/12/2018 21:29 | Interesting interview. Is this part of a new concerted drive by McKenna to lobby the relevant parties in this area as the valve is recalibrated at VFT? | bones
07/12/2018 15:07 | Interview with One of AORTECH’s directors. | landy90
06/12/2018 16:42 | Some solid bargain hunting going on today. Not many sellers left despite the redness of the global markets. | bones
06/12/2018 09:16 | Some part I agree. US market can't work out Trump he kept people "sweet" but soon that money will appear somewhere as a deficit. | zoro9791
06/12/2018 09:08 | Zoro, today's falls are all about Huawei and the CEO's daughter's arrest in Canada at US request. Implications for US/China relations etc etc. (That's why US futures dropped like a stone about midnight last night)These days, if people trip over a kerbstone, they blame it on Brexit :) | bones
06/12/2018 08:28 | Looks like the market beginning the really realise what Brexit means for the UK economy.Best news so far Farage has gone but I am affraid not for long. | zoro9791
05/12/2018 01:07 | Well other shares doing nicely for me. It so about 1% of my portfolio. | zoro9791
04/12/2018 15:14 | Agree I stay long as well with 88p avg I have to lol | zoro9791
04/12/2018 13:45 | No Zoro, I stay very long of AOR and a couple of other investments I favour. These are not for trading over a few months. | bones
04/12/2018 13:39 | Than you go short. Don't forget majority of people voted for it so they can't be all wrong.Anyway good luck I am sure UK will either way will be fine in long term. Not sure about how the short term effect will hit the country. | zoro9791 |
