Btw, I notice the price of Brent falling back, hasn’t stopped Tesco from increasing the price at their pumps! £1.529 ltr diesel. Whew! Some peeps will/ are going to find that hard to bear.

Jlp? Well, it’s not a great mover as things like that seem to behave.

There are 2 shares worth watching I feel, one is cpx, which is in the midst of litigation and a connection to Tesla. And of course rene, where it could in time, be very worth holding…but I hold neither at present (have done).

But I’m sticking with what I have at present. I have just one I’m tempted to sell, or rather part sell, and that’s aoi. I don’t like the thought of them acquiring new ventures until they get totally sorted at Prime.

hopefully this is the oil floor, it shouldnt affect us that much but it does as were hedged......but works both ways i guess

eco not doing so well, maybe time to stick a few quid in there maybe, though i get the feeling with eco that they will be the ones left out of guyana and they have been sold the worst bits

Yes the cfo is unbelievable! He must be good at his job, otherwise!

oil is getting hit and we will be back to $2 today, bit disappointing

i think oil is getting hit and manipulated a bit like gold does, biden cant or wont release reserves and he knows its a very american thing to have cheap oil, so it might be its being played......either way company is in good shape, so i dont really care

ths had nice update, if we can get a surge there running up to results i think i might switch some over here (160 ths ----> $2 aoi would suit me fine)

pleased you listened to the transcript, i cant understand the french cfo but keith is just great, though the esg 'reducing flares' for climate change was silly and funny

Thanks for the transcript Martin, I did watch that on video, but didn’t pick up on most of it, so it’s clearer now!

But oil below $80 at mo. Arabs trying to ease inflationary pressures in the western world?

well they will have someone decent, you dont spend that much....wait a minute, its someone elses money!

i do agree that eco seems to be in same position

i am more intrigued by what keith said about venus, as in only thing to determine is resevoir thickness, i need to check the oil test they did

Ha ha, wrong..fec/cgx

I’m not expecting anything much from aoi for a while. Name of the game I’m afraid.

i think its a mistake to hold onto the past too much ray, yes good to have in back of your mind and know what can happen, but like a good pitcher that gets lit up for a home run, you have to get back and forget it

like my annoying ukrainian female friend in toronto, wont touch oil stocks because she has a load of old stuff underwater from 13 years ago

well, that is either bad picks or a bad time for oil, and she has missed out on the recent price surges across the board

not a good way to invest

Good point Martin, I quite agree. But I’ve been through the war’s with some oils, and premier’s one of them.

not sure if you think that is a good thing ??

yes, obviously he has an oil background, and yes he runs the show, but its a small set up and definately no one else i would rather have in charge, just doesnt make bad decisions, so far at least

you could say the lundin set up is more of a fiefdom, they are the ultimate controllers

having ultimate power is actually a good thing when you make the right moves, no dithering and clarity.
