08/10/2021 09:36 | would be a dream of mine if aoi bought 10% of reco for 100 mill or so that would confirm to me reco is a winner would love to know keith bhill's views on reco. he needs new barrels, but wonder why he doesnt if he doesnt would make me question reco a lot more | martinfrench
08/10/2021 09:24 | impact presentation, hopefully you have seen it what i like about him, and keith hill, is their calm, no BS approach. have seen many many commods people running companies doing endless presentations and always hyping the stock, its a big red flag for me def is hope, you only need 1, dont need a partner just to pay the bills and argue with, thats pointless, i try and keep my life as pure as possible, and so many idiots out there, there is a std, if you fall below it, your out, simple as that | martinfrench
08/10/2021 09:00 | No hope for you then Martin…to picky, there’s no one that good! 😇 Cgx is costing me, but I’m there for the drill results, come what may. Otherwise not bad considering.😂 | rayrac
08/10/2021 08:43 | all my stuff doing well, pgms moving along nicely and of course aoi doing extremely well even reco up :-) | martinfrench
08/10/2021 08:41 | its fwd looking predictions for q4, which is why its on stockhouse, looks like they expect q4 to be 163 million (hard to say if total or net aoi) but either way will be a nice q4. up almost 4% in sweden ao nice bounce, i guess on higher oil yes live on my own, partly choice, partly not, just way it has unfolded, would rather find someone but like my stocks, i have high standards and are very picky could do with a dog though...... | martinfrench
07/10/2021 22:11 | Why would that info only be on stockhouse Martin? Surely the company is the only source? Been out all evening…local choir practice. You said you live on your own Martin, matter of choice? | rayrac
07/10/2021 19:00 | volume low on aoi, so no panic for everyone, i need to confirm that extra payment over on stockhouse! | martinfrench
07/10/2021 17:45 | FEC going well! Not pulling up CGX though, which is a surprise. Although cgx is a sole play on Guyana, while fec has a broader base. | rayrac
07/10/2021 17:24 | Tell me about it! I’m a runner on diesel | rayrac
07/10/2021 16:53 | if people are building, they will snap up cheaper oil, though not that cheap diesel must be 140 at our pumps now | martinfrench
07/10/2021 16:31 | Yes a strong bounce at Brent!🤪 Been out to lunch…very nice | rayrac
07/10/2021 16:03 | oil bounced back nicely, wti or brent, take your pick | martinfrench
07/10/2021 15:58 | i doubt somehow that they will, unless prime want to, because bhaving some debt is prob efficient, but should be reduced to prob 50-100 million net to aoi the warchest is building here, what with the loan facility, and next years money, aoi should have 200 million plus to use for acquisitions, maybe 300. the variables that will modify bthat greatly are the afe sale and dividends paid out dont forget keith hill wants to get to a 100k a day producer, we could maybe get to half that with kenya so he needs to find 50k barrels from somewhere, and hope he doesnt overpay, but he is shrewd so doubt he will he has always said when taking on any oil project, buying or exploring, it needs to be sustainable at low oil prices unless of course he is planning on the extra barrels coming from impact/eco ? not sure, and prob neither is he....but he has great options now, just doesnt need to drop the ball, and in 3+ years will prob be looking at 5-10 dollars i have very high hopes for venus | martinfrench
07/10/2021 15:21 | Once aoi break even with their Nigerian interests, then it should really motor! All cash too the bottom line. | rayrac
07/10/2021 10:48 | yeah but all predictable ray, nothing ever goes up like aoi and stays up, just doesnt happen, this is one of the main mistakes traders make. i never ever chase spikes not a chartist, but added to what you already know can become quite good, as ultimately it does display price action it will build, the news is always coming, and apart from dusters, never really any bad news with aoi, touch wood the real problem with aoi and price movements is that it is really hard to determine the income, what and when prime do, wish i could get some clarity on the next payment, maybe once all the one offs come through should be more predictable what the mkt doesnt seem to know or care is the hedging aspect, rising oil and falling oil doesnt make that much difference to us this yr, but next it will if someone asked me what the expected new income to aoi is, all you can say is 200-300 million, which is a huge range whereas my other stuff, pgm's, its really really easy to work out what the make almost to the nearest million and rhodium ticking up....so all guns are now firing, though still off my yr high trading profit, which is running at 50% of portfolio | martinfrench
07/10/2021 10:30 | Too old eh, Martin! Off out, laters. And oil on the wain too! | rayrac
06/10/2021 22:43 | Well, that’s over for a day, pretty miserable all round too! | rayrac
06/10/2021 16:50 | bloody hell ray, showing your age! yes pullback is here, fine by me, as long as have something racing away dont really care that much, it will be back have heard on stockhouse of an extra (37m) dividend bonus payment, prob from the redetermination of the nigerian field with the court case, but cant substantiate it so will take with a pinch of salt dividend next.....cant wait for that | martinfrench
06/10/2021 16:09 | There’s the pullback you were expecting. Oh, and we could play football in the road! And there was no such thing as a jet engine. Sir Frank was still whittling away😱 | rayrac
06/10/2021 16:02 | There’s nowt so strange as folk and the same applies to the market? I grew up much earlier in the century, when daisies and buttercups were common and watercress grew in the ditches. I used to go pulling it and selling in bunches to the neighbours! | rayrac
06/10/2021 13:12 | like you, i think, had the priveledge (though didnt appreciate at the time) of growing up in the 80's, a never to repeated era, this generation i feel sorry for luckily my main stuff is all foreign focused, i mean the ftse 100 is at similar levels as 20 yrs ago, really pathetic performance cant invest in the uk, its not worth it tharisa finally coming through.... i dont have kids but i like it when they all do well! | martinfrench
06/10/2021 12:55 | Eventually, but I’m wondering if we have much more trouble to come. I’m glad I’ve lived through the best times anyway, the world has changed so much in just the last 20 years or so. Robots will be telling us what to do soon! | rayrac
06/10/2021 12:38 | its all about faith this game isnt it, believing...... the 2 similar events that have happened both recently with aoi and ths both had news coming but wasnt waited for, we know they were both coming and then they do, whoosh (ok ths regaining lost ground) drift in stock mkts is a very real thing, gives us real opportunities | martinfrench
06/10/2021 09:44 | very tough times ahead, just read the proposed biden plans for "human infrastructure" and way more spending..... going to end badly i think the mkts are well ahead of where the economy is, and this is normally a strong time of year | martinfrench
06/10/2021 09:39 | Certainly are. But nearly all red on my watch list! | rayrac |
