Missing expectations - oh dear.


I love the way they use the word "despite", as if missing expectations doesn't matter much and we should listen to some other stuff instead.

It will be interesting to see what happens tomorrow. The Chairman recently sold almost his entire holding directly after the profits warning.

I can't see anything but a bad report tomorrow, otherwise why would he do that?

Good write up.

Setting up selling electricals in Europe is risky plenty have tried and failed.

No extended warrenty income in Germany with wafer thin margins where is the profit going to come from?

Also they are expanding into the tv market in the UK which already has unbelievably low margins you can buy a 50 inch LED Panasonic from Currys for £350 bet theres next to no margin on that.

Cannot understand large funds with skilled managers buying into these overpriced internet based businesses with no past profits or track records.
