Not much reaction so far to better than expected unemployment claims and new home sales in the US. Probably shows there aren't many buyers left and the only way the markets will move up is through increase in leverage.

If there is any chance of a santa clause rally, the markets could do with a decent end of month sell off first I reckon.

Very low volume here and across the board...this market just does not feel normal...well and truly kaput!!...

closed all my shorts now on XTA & ANTO, didn't time them very well so made a tiny profit on each.

depends on retail data at 9.30, I'm going to wait until then before I do anything else, copper not really falling like I'd like it too at the moment

methinks too early bull - we're at the decisive point and there's a nice drop on offer imo - i'm willing to lose 20pips to possibly gain 100. now at b/e.

same here, my short now underwater but copper is overbought - still, short term i've underestimated the commodities breakout, but holding dec contracts so reckon i'll be o.k when the profit taking kicks in.

hmm, did notice xta and anto spiking - think while it's a bit quiet (not much movement on the ftse) some traders may have been taking advantage of the low volume to spike it up.

both my xta and anto shorts not looking great but i'll stick with them for a bit, markets can't stay like this forever.
