Anglo Platinum is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr Robin Mills, as
Executive Director: Projects, to the Board of Anglo Platinum with effect from
1 May 2003.

Mr Mills is a mining engineer by background and has a wealth of experience in
mining. He will report to Anglo Platinum's Chief Operating Officer and will be
primarily responsible for executing group projects.

Mr John Dreyer, currently Executive Director: Projects on the Board of Anglo
Platinum, will assume the role of Executive Director: Transformation in order to
focus on strategically positioning Anglo Platinum to pro-actively and
effectively integrate with South Africa's changing economic and political
climate.
