Anpario, the independent manufacturer of natural sustainable animal feed additives for health, nutrition and biosecurity, is pleased to announce that the racing pigeon called Lady Oregon recently won the famous Sydney Gold Ring Race. Lady Oregon, who was raised on Orego-Stim(R) liquid in her drinking water every day, has been a consistent winner in various races around Australia. However, the Sydney Gold Ring Race is one of the richest long-distance endurance races which starts from Byrock in New South Wales. Approximately 565km, the pigeons fly in a westerly direction to Sydney. Prize money for the winner is AUD$13,500 plus a gold ring valued at AUD$3,500.

Orego-Stim(R) is Anpario's leading phytogenics product which through improving gut health maximises immune levels and supports a quicker recovery from racing. Produced from natural and sustainable oregano sources Orego-Stim(R) is used in many other animal health applications including poultry, swine, dairy and aquaculture. Pigeon racing is big business. A Chinese fancier paid GBP1.1m for Belgian Champion Armando last year and owners are keen to boost their chances of winning by using Orego-Stim(R). Lady Oregon's average speed was 84km/hour against a headwind gusting 30-40km/hour and she landed almost an hour before the runner-up.
