26/9/2012 13:50 | Thanks to 049balt "if an investor does not want a portfolio Zinga'd, doing some research into Agri-Equities and other Agri-Investments might be wise." Thankfully some of us worked that out a few years ago........ ;-)) EDIT... (thanks to traderabc) | spekky
20/9/2012 10:50 | sammy_smith Many thanks for that audio interview, great to hear Richard reiterate their intentions with respect to USA and his feeling that China will be their biggest customer by next year,is that really possible so soon? | spekky
20/9/2012 09:55 | I'm on a whistle stop tour of the boards. Pleased with results yesterday and great to see that MERIDEN performing as expected. Cash generation also strong with both margins and net cash higher than expectations. EPS 10.6p pencilled in for full year and therefore with EPS growth of 19% over 2011, and prospective PER 11 they are on a PEG 0.57 which suggests good value for those looking at this with a ZULU perspective (please trawl back through this thread for my investment write-up on ANP which details it as a ZULU stock). All in all I'm delighted with the progress here and interesting to hear that they are now looking to break into the US Market. Well done to the ANP team! Regards, GHF | glasshalfull

19/9/2012 13:39 | ljsquash Are you an FT.reader? or anyone else here? Just wondering how regularly John Lee gives portfolio updates,is it a weekly/monthly article or just an ad hoc thing.? | spekky
19/9/2012 13:18 | Share price finally following the rest of the good news. As always cheers Spekky for the tireless research. | ljsquash
19/9/2012 11:29 | I posted that on the old KIO thread (early 2011) and make no apology for posting it again. If you read it in conjunction with the article @ post 48 on this thread (by Optivites Murray Hyden) you will understand why Anpario feel they can "take a lead" on the campylobacter/salmon IMHO they are giving us the heads-up that they have a product ready to go.They might even have trialled it with DEFRA already. Its very unusual to get the level of detail as displayed today but its most welcome :-) | spekky
19/9/2012 07:57 | Excellent, looking forward to a full 6 month contribution from Meriden and continued growth of Chinese ops........well done Edwards/Bullen et al. | spekky
19/9/2012 07:10 | i can cope with 20% up on eps :D are we going through 120p!!!?!?!? be a shame if we didn't after those results!! some of us been hanging about since 2009 for major moves uffff. woop the ANP! | moosh2
13/9/2012 11:52 | "pork purchases soar by one-third last year"............."n | spekky
11/9/2012 17:12 | We all make that kind of mistake, timing is everything......good luck with this. That 100p level has been a tough nut to crack for sure. | spekky
11/9/2012 16:48 | Spekky, I was early into Genus but in retrospect made the mistake of selling out too early. I shall have to control myself more if this takes off. It seems an ideal share for natural growth under its own steam or as an aquisation for some of the bigger Agri players | ayl30
11/9/2012 14:03 | Ayl30 Hope your correct re "another Genus".At the very least we might assume that the Genus actions to help the Chinese increase pig production will lead to greater demand for feed additives.......seem | spekky
11/9/2012 12:02 | Nice to see moving in right direction....been here about 5 years myself...around that. Sooooooo, im staying put for long haul.....I quite enjoy getting the cheque once a year anyway.....pays for a damn good slap up meal and hotel up city....lol | tailgunner2
11/9/2012 11:56 | Yes price has responded since John Lee tipped them in FT. He has a reasonable track record so lets hope he is right. Its the sort of share that suits me as a long time lurking shareholder. This has the potential to be another Genus in my view | ayl30
11/9/2012 10:14 | For info only, some investors might be interested in other John Lee holdings,as always, DYOR etc. | spekky
10/9/2012 12:19 | Hard to imagine that Meriden supplies 16 of the top 20 feedmills in China, what a great acquisition AND just recently launched in Algeria. | spekky
07/9/2012 15:17 | mmmmmmm elliott wave bouncy bouncy bounce. | moosh2
07/9/2012 15:04 | Looking better carry on next week and I might start to believe - here's to £1.50p + | ljsquash
07/9/2012 12:20 | Quite amazing.......people paying 3p above the offer. | spekky
07/9/2012 10:35 | I think its MM (i.e. singular) market very tight. | monty9 |
