First gas or full production, 3Put? It's only the latter that's meaningful.

I reckon ANGS will get to full production (presuming no traditional last-minute ANGS disaster bombshells) between Mon 4th and Mon 11th July, but although 100% necessary, that's not particularly significant.

What will be significant one way or the other is:-

A. the consistently achievable flow rates from the two producing wells.

B. The cast-iron yes/no confirmation on whether a sidetrack drill can take place without suspending production.

C. The success or not of that sidetrack attempt.

Tearful, Jonny? Me? I’m not the one with the bumpy head. Are they still tittering in Perth? I expect so. Been blackballed from any more polo clubs, have we?

And we’ll all swing together -
It’s the way we’ve been taught to be.
Yes we’ll all swing together -
Or we’ll all swing separately..

Still no sign of the gas generators in the backyard of those pictures though!!Looks like the schedule has slipped again actually! Are Aleph reconsidering the second £3 million then. Surely we should have had an RNS by now?

Indeed it is...

Twenty years hence this weather,
May tempt us from office stools,
We may be slow on the first gas,
And seem to the boys old fools,

But we'll still spin together,
And swear by the best of schools,
But we'll still spin together,
And swear by the best of schools

1347: I dare say that could also be sung to the tune of one of the Eton House songs. Oh, I forgot, the original Hokey Cokey seems to be sung and practised nowadays in all of them.

Jolly Boating Weather, what?

You put your Lidsey in
your Lidsey out
In, out, in, out,
You shake it all about.
You do the Hokey Cokey and you turn around
That's what it's all about

Has a rig been ordered to drill the sidetrack yet?

Which month in 2022 do you expect the rig to arrive if so. Thank you. Asked on 2 May 2022
Yes. A rig was ordered in June 2021, considerable replacement parts for which were sourced from overseas. Although it was scheduled to be ready in October, none of the parts actually landed in the UK until December and as a consequence the rig itself would not have been ready until around now. This underlines the very real supply chain problems which we faced in H2 2021, and which continue to cause problems for many other Operators. If anything we think that the supply chain issues have gotten worse not better since then, and we are relieved to have our kit onshore.

There are alternative onshore rigs which we could have used for this side-track had we felt it necessary. The rig is undergoing testing and we do inspection reports and visits every three or four weeks. We are confident that it will be ready for moblisation at site at the end of June

1347: yes, quite. They’re indecisive re abandonment vs. enthusiastic development of previously written off oil assets, what? Perhaps their recent experience in this kind of thing will have prepared them for dealing with the eventual abandonment liability for the pipeline. There’s something else for HITS to factor into his cash flow forecasts.

3Put: it’s pointless to get excited about very short term movements in forward gas prices. They’re too volatile. Gas was at 315 this morning for a while. It’s now at 222. Anguish has got to get it to Shell first. And get started on the sidetrack.
