Sincero yes it was. But my point remains... George should have issued that revision at least a month earlier than he did.

It's not like he suddenly discovered at midnight on the 29th Nov that all the equipment that at that point he was still assuring the market would be on site by end Oct (!) was now going to slip by up to 3 1/2 months and not finish arriving until mid Feb...

With ANGS, seemingly they remain invariably disingenuous by omission. It's what they don't tell the market in a timely fashion that remains one of their largest self-inflicted issues and that continues to tarnish their already pretty shoddy trustworthiness.

Yes, Multiple I.D Moron is certainly a mercurial soul - isn't he? One minute he's brimming with confidence that the BOD will "FINALLY" deliver... and the next, he's calling them every name under the sun and threatening EGM's!

Anyone who listens to anything he has to say, needs their head testing IMHO (as clearly he needs his own head testing asap!)

Nothing to see now until the New Year, I expect... unless George emerges from hiding to blame his latest self-inflicted delay on the EA that is!
Perhaps if he had applied a little forward planning, this would all have been done & dusted by now and they could have already commenced ground works? Sadly Anguish NEVER plan ahead in my experience, they are always far too busy fire-fighting: finding excuses for the latest FAILURE TO DELIVER on a deadline, operational milestone... ANYTHING & EVERYTHING!

Sounds like The Multiple-I.D Moron is having his usual "monthly" meltdown again... apparently it's just dawned on him that we aren't going to see gas production until March - May.

I have news for him: even May is optimistic now, IMHO!

The "Men From Mars" "Stale Bulls" "LTH's" know it... The Market know it... the (increasingly desperate) cheerleaders know it... and I'm damn sure George and the rest of the BOD have known it for months already!

What is/was the rig for?

The far bigger pertinent question is:-

How much gas and by when?

Next door is banging on and on about the EA permit. Yes, absolutely it's a crucial step - crucial, because without it, there's no gas and then no ANGS. Also a step that, if delayed, will delay ANGS even further.

However that's all it is... a step. Getting the EA permit is essential, but getting it does not (of course) in any way guarantee that Poundland can be made to be commercially viable for ANGS.

I'm expecting strenuous pump attempts when EA permission is announced (as I'm next to certain it will be).

CQ: I see that my post at 17.43 yesterday merely contained a repetition of yours earlier in the day. Apologies for that but I agree with you!

Cudswallop is now saying that the absence of EA approval this week would not affect them much, other than delaying first gas to April/May. He thinks the workers are already winding down for Christmas. What about HSE approval, expected early this month?
