Re Jonny, I think it’s something else. Why would he stop now denying another placing may be imminent?

Discount placing now virtually "NAILED ON" IMHO.

Despite the cheerleader protestations... we still ended down today. Google closing share price today: 0.77p

Anguish are already "milking" the geothermal rainbow for all it's worth in anticipation... so that the Ocebot has something optimistic to shout about when investors are greeted with the news in due course - via RNS - that they've been shafted (AGAIN!)

God give me strength!

It must be fantastic, if you’ve been brought up unscrupulous, to run one of these AIM oil/gas companies. You and your AIM confederates can get away with virtually anything, year after year, and your shareholders’ faith in you remains somehow intact. Even if the things you’re getting away with are the same things you got away with last year and the year before that... I believe in the argot it’s “rinse and repeat”. You just keep drawing a nice salary and perquisities, no matter what’s going on in the company, and those shareholders even seem to think that share placings are a good thing. Free money for the company. Unbelievable really.

I think CQ is right. They probably need some more free money now. And not just to finance the Christmas party and the victuals for their country house sprees, what?

Practical advice for any new investors:

Go to "Filter" which you will find at the top of your screen - between "thread list" and "Alerts" - & in the search tab, type in:

3put / davemarn / solo4yous / ultimatejustice9

and - hey presto - you will (once again) be able to follow a sensible thread posted by several knowledgable long term investors in this company.

We will always update you when the resident Mutiple I.D Moron re-appears (which sadly he does very VERY frequently to spam the board) but in the meantime, at least you will get a rounded realistic view of what is really going on here and when would be the best time - if any - to invest.

1347: yes, that was one of her memorable posts. I liked the first part:

Yes, too many moving parts and all of them moving at a snail’s pace. If it’s a significant project, it’s because of a massive rise in the gas price. And because the Interim MD turned down that bank finance and eschewed the option of a quick Rolls Royce project with Halliburton, it’s another year and a half late and touch and go at best. Still, as she implies, it’s been an excellent learning experience for the Interim MD, what?
