11/5/2012 10:37 | I don't any significance personally... its like comparing Tescos to Budgens. | woracle
11/5/2012 09:23 | Wilmar and Noble who both refine palm oil posted very poor results yesterday. Looks like the likes of AEP have the upper hand and its a sellers market . | hvs
10/5/2012 00:13 | Fingers, a keen advfn chartist suggests this move will take AEP to 1000p. | woracle
09/5/2012 12:54 | Looking good... | kermray
30/4/2012 08:25 | Hard to fault. As you say Noel no jump on the excellent results this morning . But I think that these will "melt up" over time as these results sink in. The whole palm oil sector has been in the ascendency this year backed by really tremendous results. The story with AEP in particular is the same as it has been for a while - a tremendous growth story at a very reasonable price. Where are we now on these results? pe of 8'ish with a 10 year compound annual average EPS growth rate of 30+% over the last decade. it is astonishing really. And little acknowledged or widely known about. | undervaluedassets
30/4/2012 07:52 | solid set of results imho re the divi... The final dividend will be paid on 9 July 2012 to those shareholders on the register on 8 June 2012. Shareholders choosing to receive their dividend in Sterling will do so at the rate ruling on 8 June 2012, when the register closes. Based on the exchange rate at 23 April 2012 of $1.6080/GBP, the proposed dividend would be equivalent to 3.7p, compared to 3.1p declared in respect of 2010. | bountyhunter
28/4/2012 13:20 | I'm not sure if AEP shares will soar after releasing their yearly results.MPE and REA released nice results as well but the shareprice barely reacted. | noelopan

11/4/2012 11:41 | i made a little write up on Anglo-Eastern. i think the stock has very low profile and generally the growth story is not well explained. below a few key points - let me know what you think. * they invests aggressively in plantation growth and by 2017 their mature plantation size may grow by 150% compared to 2010 which could translate into an equal growth in EPS. * The company has an exceptionally strong balance sheet with a net cash position and a long history of prudent financial management (running ever increasing net cash balance since 2003). * Long term average return on equity has been around 15% (excluding FX and biological assets revaluation impact). With the profit retention rate of 95% and assuming management can, in the long term, maintain the capital allocation efficiency that translates into potential for over 14% long term EPS growth. * There is no broker coverage for the stock and there is limited press coverage. * There is a limited institutional investor base and the majority of the stock belongs to a long term private investor who is also a member of the board. see below for more: | vinnegar
10/4/2012 09:50 | CPO hitting new highs. | hvs
08/4/2012 18:20 | Agree with you. They are very low profile but there is very good value here. Have to be patient. Next results and outlook statemenmt will ingnite the share price | hvs

15/3/2012 14:24 | I hope so can do with every penny. | hvs
15/3/2012 14:14 | let's hope that 'the best is yet to come'.I guess AEP can spike up if the board announce a significant dividend increase.Still have to wait until the end of april to know it.Their cash position was 84 million $ end september and the cash flows increase every month.So...i guess it's reasonable to reward the shaleholders by paying higher dividends. | noelopan
