12/5/2016 08:28 | gap up to 16p? | wimbled
12/5/2016 08:27 | I spent all last week hoping it would go back to sub 8p for a top up, in the end bought at over 11p yesterday. Not sure it is worth waiting for a pullback | jbe81
12/5/2016 08:25 | They're not having mine, but was hoping to buy some more, when/if it corrects. | andrewsr
12/5/2016 08:24 | Cordwainer, Agreed but I'd rather the UK wasn't first in line :) | zhockey
12/5/2016 08:22 | MMs have no stock! | jbe81
12/5/2016 08:13 | Who is going this evening? | jbe81
12/5/2016 07:55 | Hadn't checked in since yesterday am, V nice suprise. | philo124
12/5/2016 01:47 | zhockey, on first read i find that your post 'with regards to the Brexit' reads like you're ramping the Remain vote from the indirect perspective of the economy, with a token inclusion of the word 'gold', or maybe its just an ambiguously constructed post. I happen to think all of those scenarios you speak of are equally possible with or without Brexit, and have already occurred, post EEA. | cordwainer
11/5/2016 21:44 | Mattjos, I really appreciate the work you do on this thread. Let's hope this journey pans out in the way we hope. | jaspoland
11/5/2016 21:41 | With regards to the Brexit, I suspect a lot of voters when faced with the prospect of their home prices falling by 50% will prob decide to err on the side of caution. The world economy is a house of cards and something like this is a massive risk, do we really want to see the UK go cap in hand to the IMF, have 15% inflation and mass public unrest? Yes there maybe some refuge in gold, but what will be left of the country? | zhockey
11/5/2016 21:03 | This is a Log chart I did back on 5th March. Just some personal chart analysis to try and determine what may be coming. Please don't anyone take this as a prediction ... I was simply trying to understand what would happen IF what we have here is indeed Wave 5 of a huge 1,2,3,4,5 EW advance in Gold. Whilst it might be the stuff dreams are made on the face of it, the flipside is that for this take place, there would have to be something very, very wrong in the wider world so, it is very much a double-edged sword & arguably not something one might wish for. Still, it will be interesting from a charting education standpoint to keep watch this next 12-18 months | mattjos
11/5/2016 19:44 | Great day here. Onwards and upwards please. Patience seems to be paying off ! | jeanesy
11/5/2016 19:40 | The presentation will probably be fairly routine, unless there's an announcement in the morning (doubtful), but any feedback would be appreciated if anyone's going. Thanks | andrewsr
11/5/2016 19:13 | Crossfire, I think youi'll get a chance soon. Punters often pile into stocks ahead of these daft Proactive Investor events, in the hope of a scoop being released at the event. Since it is Bill doing the presentation, rather than Reza Vaziri, I struggle to believe there will be anything new offered for consideration. It will surely be Reza that will give sign significant news as/when it may break. On that basis, I suspect this will be marked down by the MM's, post event in the hope of encouraging some selling by disappointed punters so, might be wise to wait until Friday afternoon session | mattjos
11/5/2016 19:06 | Thanks for the update Mattjos. I'm looking on with interest. The long term share price chart looks very similar to AAU's, and I'm looking to possibly diversify a bit. Seems to be ready for a bit of consolidation perhaps in the short term though, so I'll continue to watch for now. | crossfirecssf
11/5/2016 18:43 | Tiz indeed a well balanced thread Matt.... Hope you manage to keep it that way. I don't post much, but do check in everyday. | hedgehog33
11/5/2016 18:35 | Agree Matt, posted as much when gold was $1220 | jbe81
11/5/2016 18:10 | Amongst my circle of friends and acquaintances, I do not know one person who intends to vote IN for the EU vote next month.I try to ask as many people as I can on the subject but everyone seems set against it.The pollsters got the last election result completely wrong so, don't think they can be trusted. An OUT vote coupled later with a Trump victory would certainly introduce some volatility and uncertainties into global markets. It's also common to see some other global power do something to test the mettle on newly elected USA presidents .. To see if they are up to the job. Such a set of circumstances would be particularly beneficial for the price of gold as the equities would be hard hit. I believe we've already now seen the start of this effect on Gold & it is taking the form of physical gold being bought by people as a form of insurance and wealth preservation. With only 6 weeks to go now before the first potential 'black swan' event, I expect gold to remain well bid & should crack this seemingly 'critical' $1,300 level, with ease | mattjos
11/5/2016 17:50 | Good plan Matt. No point having noise we don`t need on here. | terropol
11/5/2016 17:38 | It always has matt. Nice thread | jbravo2
11/5/2016 17:25 | some nice holdings chaps. Should be life-changing for some people here with patience. fwiw, I have been carefully banning a load of posters from this thread. None of the regulars .. just the trader chimps that tend to turn up and spout nonsense at certain times on fast moving stocks so, hopefully, the thread will remain a source of information for long term investors and free of dross. All that the chimps will do is introduce volatility to the stock and that will simply aid the Market Makers - who are already short on stock from sub-10p and keen to find some to try and balance up their books. I don't see that we should help them Hope that suits the rest of you | mattjos
11/5/2016 17:18 | Boy, wish I had 2m. GLA | wrighty46
11/5/2016 17:14 | Yes. 2m here. Waiting for much higher than 30p aps. | jbravo2
11/5/2016 17:00 | I have close to 2 million shares. I will not even consider to sell 1 share before it hits 30p. I believe as board members we have over 10 million shares by now. Are there any other significant shareholders among us? Best | aps55555 |
