mkt cap still remains absolutely paltry at £7.5m ($10.5m).
What the news piece does tell us is that not only is the company servicing its debts but, it is also now paying them down & at same time, also managing to spend on CAPEX to maintain the production growth.

No idea at what point the market as a whole will recognise this fact but, it will have to do so at some stage this year. EV is circa £41m ($58m).
If the mkt cap simply creeps up to that level in lock-step with the rate at which the debt is reduced, that does still indicate the equity value will quintuple from here.

Yes but even so, debt will be repaid and are the equity markets not supposed to look ahead?

Nice chart Brasso.

So it looks like $12M credits for copper and silver this year. That is about the current mcap isn't it?

Nice, all we need is 10 more Gadir's or Silver to go to $1000/oz.

On a serious note I'd like to know what AAZ are doing about exploration.

that lot should hugely increase the rate at which they can drill, load and haul the higher grade ore from the Gadir mine to the agitation & flotation plants

The thing about the debt is that it could quickly come down as the less debt we have the smaller the interest payments that are due and therefore the quicker the payments will reduce the bottom line and so it will be paid much more rapidly. The key thing is can the POG stay above 1200 long term.

FYI

SAG Mill - Semi-Autogenous Grinding Mill

A semi-autogenous grinding mill, or Sag mill, is responsible for grinding materials from large chunks into small, usable pieces for processing. The Sag mill is usually part of the primary stage in the grinding process. Pieces of raw or fairly reduced materials are ground into smaller pieces for further processing or sorting. These machines are typically electrically powered, but have been modified from a variety of powering systems over the years.

red rook...good post and agree with comments and stated case, aaz have typically under reported and over delivered in the past.

Upgrading Gadir with additional new equipment should increase the high grade ore available for flotation plant. The addition of the second sag mill is another step toward increased throughput and meeting their full year targets.

I will post an updated production chart later when I get home.

The high Silver and Copper has messed up the scale!:)

Terropol,

How long do you see them maintaining that rate of gold production?

Also where do you see production of gold/copper in 5 years time?

Cheers,
ZH

PHILO124. The company is not doing any future trading. They work with the ongoing market price. It can go both ways...So always a speculation....

BRASSO3. I am counting on 7000plus x month production from now on.

JEANESY. I would not expect devaluation to be mentioned to much...AAZ is a partner of the government in this project...and I am sure the latter is not to happy about having to devalue....
With a low production the last quarter we managed to pay off nearly 2m $. That tells you gold price and low Manat is helping the profits....No need to say much more.... Is all in the bottom line.

Yes, I had $5million in mind to subject to gold price holding up.
Do they ever forward sell ?.

They need to put in a big Q2 now and pay off ~$5m of the debt in one quarter. We have been saying similar things on here for about a year now. Once they do this the market will start to believe and it will no longer be priced to go bust.

Once debt is down to around $40m then get another Flotation plant online and get Copper production up to 5000 tonnes per year. That would be around $10m in revenue just from copper and remove the dependence on the gold price.

What is that 239k trade just before the close. I think it was a buy. I thought we really would have heard about the manat devaluation update on costs but we havent. Are we going to get them in May?

The company still seems to be priced to go bust, but the update suggests the company is doing reasonably OK, better than I was fearing after a couple of low production months. A re-rating is long overdue.

Well the downside should be limited from here, I would say it's good value at this price.

Could this be a very optimal time to load up on these ?

The news about poor winter production and hard rock is out. Going forward the remaining quarters should show an increase in production year on year. The debt should also come down a fair wee bit this year.

The risks are as ever the precious metal prices, hard rock / other mining issues and trouble in the region.

Mattjos, I am confident the company is comfortable with the full year production estimate.
They could have mentioned a lower amount if not.
I still think the next 9 month will do very well for the company.
See what April brings....

I'm not sure what people were expecting to be honest, the news was better than I expected.
