They are there to make money at our expense. Look what they do with the spreads. Have you ever read trading in the zone by Mark Douglas? Excellent read. There is an excellent chapter where he talks about working in the trading pits in Chicago. He went there thinking he would be trading with and learning off the best in the business, only to have his illusions shattered. All they were concerned about was making money via the buy and sell commission from the mug punters.

yes, I have found often, very often, that by the time I rock up to place a bet the market is generally closed to me in the direction I wish to bet upon!! they know how to manage their risk/exposure I guess,, I've given up betting with them and I guess many others have too,,,, hence, their call to you,,, they need more business!!! :-)

you'll find it's a good indicator of where the stock will go next,,,, if you can't go long, chances are the stock's going to rise,,, and visa versa,, if you can't go short it's most likely the stock's going down!!!! from my experience anyhow,,, when you want to bet and you can't it's because you agree with the market :-) :-) Cheers Wan :-)

EU warns Azerbaijan of ‘severe consequences’ if Armenia’s territorial integrity is violated

BRUSSELS, JANUARY 16, ARMENPRESS. The EU has been passing clear messages to Azerbaijan that any violation of Armenia’s territorial integrity would be unacceptable and will have severe consequences for EU-Azeri relations, European Commission’s lead spokesperson for foreign affairs and security policy Peter Stano told Armenpress.

“The European Union has spared no diplomatic efforts to help reach a mutually acceptable settlement of the conflict over the past few years.

“We have been in close contact with the Armenian and Azerbaijani leaderships, tirelessly reiterating our support for the sovereignty, territorial integrity of both countries and the resolution of issues exclusively by peaceful means. Our communication channels remain open.

“The EU has been using every opportunity to pass clear messages to Azerbaijan that any violation of Armenia’s territorial integrity would be unacceptable and will have severe consequences for our relations.

“We remain firm and steadfast in this stance.

“The President of the European Council Charles Michel, the High Representative /Vice-President Josep Borrell and the EU Special Representative Toivo Klaar continue their engagement for a sustainable and lasting peace between Armenia and Azerbaijan,” Stano told Armenpress Brussels correspondent Lilit Gasparyan when asked to comment on Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev’s latest threats and territorial claims against Armenia.

I am sure you are correct Bumpa,,, I'm with HL, using their online platform, managed to get 25K @ 21.888 in the end yesterday :-),,, as for IG, I agree,, plus there never seems to be any borrow in the right direction,,, if I want long, can only go short,,, if I want short, they'll only offer me long etc etc... I've given up with them too!!
