19/6/2020 15:51 | AAZ having its AGM next week. Lets hope that some of the important questions get answered. The shareprice is failing to react to all the positive conditions it should be enjoying. Lets hope we can make progress from here. it is all rather frustrating. I have seen it all before though ! | jeanesy

19/6/2020 15:33 | Look at the FEDS banksters defending Gold $1740 level again ... hit it on the head and then immediately slapped down | onedayrodders
19/6/2020 15:14 | A red card without an accompanying comment is pretty pointless, not least as i have no guidance as to providing an answer; e.g. i could provide a link etc to BM's statement wrt above comment, should that be in question. | 2sporrans
19/6/2020 14:56 | Approx 2p spread at the moment, yet quoting 8p on the quote screen. My theory is that the spread is kept wide to facilitate high profits on spread betting bets, MM could and may well get a commission on activity... | terropol
19/6/2020 14:48 | “The Company notes that, while it has been in recent discussions with the Government of Azerbaijan and other parties in relation to potential transactions, such discussions are preliminary and no terms have been discussed or agreed. There can be no certainty that these discussions will result in any transactions. The Company further notes that it regularly has discussions with other parties regarding the development of the Group.” I’m assuming the Q3 jorc statements will extend lom beyond 2024/5 hopefully to 2030. Wouldn’t it be prudent to have guarantee of psa extensions to go hand in hand with jorc extensions for Gedabek open pits and Gadir mine. | bleepy
19/6/2020 14:28 | I just did a dummy sell. I was offered 1.2825. | gold finger 1
19/6/2020 14:22 | "Perhaps the delay to the JORC is related to the deal with the GoA?" cc Bill Morgan did state clearly, during a recent [Proactive?] interview, that the JORCs had been held up by the lockdown; the 3rd party Geologists required to verify what Steve Whithead's team have assessed had not made it to site for reasons to do with the virus and countermeasures. This doesn't preclude your contention; both BM's statement and what you are mulling can be true. [Fwliw, i think any premium in the share price wrt any form of Azerzi Gov. deal etc evaporated before the end of 2019. ] I doubt that the long overdue Q1 exploration report has been delayed by either specifically, but it is not hard to imagine that lab work is taking longer to do, if distancing, cleansing etc strictures are being followed. All very frustrating, not least as what ought to be +ve newsflow decays into growing concern with every further day of impasse. A reason why regular interviews/presentat We can only hope that the very emergence of exploration and JORC reports will, in itself, spark some buying; the content being obviously far more important though. | 2sporrans
19/6/2020 14:20 | The way I look at it is simple. Our AISC is around $600. So when gold was $1330, we made $730/oz profit. Now gold is $1730, we make $1130/oz profit. So our profit is currently over 50% higher than it was this time last year. Easy...you don't need to worry about tax, dividends, PSA etc. They have all stayed constant. If our valuation had stayed constant we'd be 50% higher than this time last year, so 180/200. That's got to be the minimum expectation for the next few weeks | donald pond
19/6/2020 14:12 | Its amazing to think that we have not moved at all in 12 months. When you think gold has increased by almost $400 an ounce in that time. So i don't expect if gold went up again it would make any difference. Debt free news, nothing. Record profits, nothing. increased divi, nothing. Some positive exploration news, nothing. Its just bubbling away here, ready to explode up. I hope. | gold finger 1
19/6/2020 13:34 | Interesting Simon, I'd sort of forgotten that but I'm sure I came away from one of these meetings thinking that the agreement had been for AAZ to prove up the assets and then transfer ownership back to Azerbaijan at some point. Perhaps things have changed: being able to turn sufficient profit to pay a dividend and show that AAZ is more efficient than Azergold being 2 obvious things. It's a fascinating set up, for sure. | donald pond
19/6/2020 13:32 | Here we go again, looks like we are about to make another attempt on 1740. | cinoib
19/6/2020 13:24 | Well worth reading | nickk1
