Mr wanobi
I found the posts on the sb's most enlightening and if you are brave enough to dip a toe in the water (please make sure it's only a little toe) then I have a sure fire way to profits.
Short any of the stocks that I buy. Historically it appears to work every time.
I'm sure we can come to an arrangement on commisssion rates in due course :)

Doc60, my commisrations to you and me with AMC, amazing how RY has changed his spots in the last two years.
A lifestyle CEO and the BOD !!
Yes AVCT is a trick on it's own !! I am now having a free ride there so not worried at all.

Wan,that post first thing this AM was a very good post by you.
I have contributed nothing really,I just stood by you when others shunned you on the main thread. Mattjos,Bumpa,M/F,RB etc,etc are the ones for you to learn from. I have not more to contribute.
You have been top class and polite person and I congratulate you for the amount of knowledge you have accumulated in a short time.

Bumpa, AMC is a dog share with a crook of a CEO and I have written it off. What a great resource but what a waste of it !!

No idea, bumpa but it’s +41% now. Would think it’ll be Woodford stake finding a home. Upside could be huge if it’s the case

I'd set a stop loss of 150p for AVCT which was triggered today. Cemented a 43% gain, one of my faults is holding on to shares too long watching my gains turn to large losses, eg AMC 😊 Will watch from the side lines now, but could tempted back in.

Someone going to take out Woodford and Invesco ??!

Its not hard to see that something is going on behind the scenes here.
You have to be mad to think this M/C is correct with the money its throwing out.

Then you have all the sheep piling their money into all these companies that are not working never mind making money.
There is a real disconnect from reality here.

This company is throwing money out daily, is that really to hard for some to understand.

I was in PPC in the high twenties and didn't sell doh! Eventually pulled the plug after an email exchange with Peter Levine in which he was very dismissive and rude when i suggested he had plainly failed to create any shareholder value. I wasn't wrong, just look at that chart!

Good afternoon all. Regarding spread betting and cfd. You have to monitor situation non stop while open. Do not put stop loss on as market makers can see those and that is why sometimes a price drops for a split second and takes you out. You should have your stop loss in your head and if reached, then sell out.On another note AVCT has now fallen for 6 days in a row. I will wait for next RNS before deciding what to do. Apart from price dropping, what has really changed. Three RNS are waiting to be released.

Especially so with finnCap's 8p target price.

skeptic1, lots and lots. My back of an envelope says you can buy this mine at todays price for 3.5 times it's net profit. And you would get a circa $35 million 'cash back' of the money currently in the bank! At this level some cheeky outfit might try a takeover using the company's own cash as leverage, but of course the directors holdings would block it.

Gold has been above $1680 for 37 trading days and looks like it wants to push through $1745, has the FED lost it's shorting touch, or have the Reserve Banks decided that it's time to fill their boots with real money, and are tucking away gold for the rainy day that is getting ever closer?
