03/6/2019 08:24 | LLB Yes. If you put 10 yr aside and focus on the 6-mnth to 3yr period, where the inversion is happening; tad over 0.5% lower bond y. for 3yr bond v 6 mnth: 1 interpretation is that forecasts 2 rate cuts by Fed + spare. Arguably 3 cuts [of 0.25%] as the 'neutral' rate needs to rise over time, in line with inflation, however modest it may be or be forecast to be. i.e. even with a flat curve, the 'real' rate is falling to extent the inflation index is rising. Also suggests recession within that period; early-mid 2020 going on to early 2022 - within when it most likely to happen. There is opinion that 'It's different this time' [because of monetary distortions, US and Globally] but the message is getting harder to ignore....pressure on Fed to cut grows. | 2sporrans
03/6/2019 08:16 | AVCT could be a life changer Wan, in more ways than one - but yes there's a long way to go yet. My expectation would be for it to get taken out by one of the big boys though - i'd settle for a 10 bagger :) | bumpa33
03/6/2019 08:14 | AVCT 1000 shares is max I can buy online with HL right now :-) Cheers Wan | wanobi
03/6/2019 08:13 | PT, thats awful, but at least you still have plenty. I wish you luck, and maybe you can find some dips to add on. Does seem to be some persistent sellers for some reason... | thejonah
03/6/2019 08:12 | AVCT could be a 100 bagger :-) LOL :-) not a ramp, seriously, if this thing works out & it gets valued along with its peers, oh boy...…..:-) thanx for the heads up on it Bumpa…. lots of IF's & MAYBE's to come, but a great punt in my view :-) Cheers Wan | wanobi
03/6/2019 08:07 | Still hot money going into BIDS, should make interesting watching. | jbe81
03/6/2019 08:06 | German yield curve -ve over 6 months to 3 years [graph not well focused but can see well enough]: -ve Bundesbank rates becoming more -ve is the louder canary there. Still decidedly rising curve in China; little flattening over year. Interesting. All manner of stimuli still ongoing/potential there. Efficacy...another matter. | 2sporrans
03/6/2019 08:04 | Good morning all, thanx Bumpa, yes, AVCT RNS is excellent news, I've been trying to pick up a few more this am, nothing doing with HL yet :-) Cheers Wan | wanobi
03/6/2019 08:03 | Don't want to be rampy but surely this is the week we break £1 for ever. Fingers crossed | mad foetus
03/6/2019 07:47 | #2sporrons.. what does it tell us if the 10 year yield is lower than the 3 month..? and now the 6/12 month too. My interpretation is a 10 year is only worth something today to get that yield if interest rates are heading south going forward, and you do that when the sh*t hits the fan to stimulate growth .. recession.. Bloomberg are reporting Morgan Stanley quoting ' recession within a year if trade war continues'... USD headroom to fight off a recession - 2.5% of 'magic bullets' UK - 0.5% or next to nothing Europe - next to nothing or negative Japan - negative Spot POG USD 1310 | laurence llewelyn binliner
03/6/2019 07:29 | Harbinger of Recession: What a difference a month makes. Much of the inversion came about just in past week. And that's the US. Europe+Japan are already pretty much static and monetary toolbox depleted. | 2sporrans
03/6/2019 07:12 | morning, spot gold through 1310 this morning. AVCT accelerates TMAC programme, to be in phase 1 study now early 2020 | bumpa33

02/6/2019 23:16 | Yes, with climate change the future wars about water will probably take place in the Middle East and the Indian continent. Diversion of rivers and the like. In Chile all the water has been sold off to big Co,s. It is a strange wold we live in. I mentioned Graphine a while back. When and if they sort it out the they can change sea water and filter the salt out and make fresh water but I think that is a while away. Wan there ain't anything better then Gold for the moment. Let's see what tomorrow bring for AAZ. GLA. | callmebwana
02/6/2019 20:38 | cmb, thanx, yep, for now, Gold is probably as good as it gets in terms of protecting ones wealth :-),,, no idea why, but I shall also stay with it until something better comes along :-) LOL, cheers Wan | wanobi

02/6/2019 19:17 | Bluejay Mining (JAY) - RNS 30/5/19:- "Following an inadvertent release of information by the Company's Broker, the Company is providing some preliminary unaudited financial information in respect of the financial year ended 31 December 2018 as follows:" "The Company has today given notice to share price Angel of its intention to terminate the broker relationship with Bluejay." | podgyted
02/6/2019 19:09 | It's a question of market perception. SPA are perceived to be the experts - that they couldn't forecast the outcome of Liverpool vs Accrington Stanley is irrelevant. The case for change is unaltered. | podgyted |
