@bsharman As for getting up to speed the recent presentation, available either on the co website or through the link on the page here is good reading.
As for whether you should stay invested here.... of course. Its the pivotal year for AAZ. We will start paying a return for your shares IMO. The debt is negligible.
Production is going to shoot up and the exploration plan is huge.

Celeritas, they had not yet started but We looked at the site ready to start work, Crushers were ordered the day I left, and guessing work would have started after that.

BSHARMAN3, Put the shares back in the draw, take them out when we are well over £1.

If that were to be achieved, would be very happy with that.

As for the shares, price continues to consolidate around the 40p region - think next leg higher goes to around 55p for a further period of consolidation.

I bought these years ago (too early) and stuck them in a draw.. They are now out of the draw and i see my average is 40p. I'm very much not up to speed on the developments over the past few years, can anyone enlighten me briefly or point me in the right direction of an article or research so i can see if it is worth continuing to hold! Thanks

CELERITAS, from Georgian Border about 4-5 hours to Gedabek. Then from the Mine about 5 hours to Shaki. From Shaki 7-8 hours to Baku.
Very nice trip. And very reassuring to see the Mining going on first hand.
A very well run operation with 1000 people working there. All the plants in great order and well maintained, The site for the new crushers was ready to start sorting then, So I am guessing it will be sorted well within estimated time.

Celeritas, On my Visit there end of October did the trip from Georgia all the way across Azerbaijan by car.
I did go via Gedabek and zig-zaged to a place called Sheki, then drove across the mountains on the way to Baku.
Very interesting drive.
The tea in indeed very nice.

24k for the hard months of the year would be fantastic. Incredible.
I'm banking on lower though. 24k would be a signal that we should expect to smash the yearly target and 100k is within reach IMO. Even 20k shows we should be way above target for the year IMO.

The high level political stuff is mildly interesting but only that really. It doesn't affect our day to day in any way, the vital part of our operation.
Continue digging up >200oz a day, for c.$600/oz, and sell it for c.$1300/oz. Tat way everything will come right.

We'll find more gold to replace the stuff we've dug up and we'll start to pay a return.

And that is without accounting for the extra ore processed in Q3 and Q4 by the new parallel crushers.

The company is always working and delivering ahead of the Market.

I saw Michael Portillo last night on his rail journey from Georgia to Baku, very interesting especially the scale of that oil plant, could have gone via Gedabek mind.

I've noticed the amount of cooperation with other countries over the last few months Terropol.

JEANESY, we should be getting news on restart of Main Pit, progress on New crushers, like you say an update on drilling progress with any significant new discoveries and in 2 weeks we will have had the first quarter production complete and announced not long after that.

On Politics, this week foreign ministers from Iran,Turkey and Georgia Met in Baku in the first ever quadripartite talks aimed at promoting regional peace and cooperation among the 4 nations.
Azerbaijan becoming more and more international.
