27/2/2018 16:01 | I expect a dividend anyway at some point this year. Reserves will be added as we go along over the next 3 years, Reza is gearing the plant up to eliminate bottlenecks in the future. | celeritas
27/2/2018 15:49 | If we can prove up reserves, with the market anticipating more to come, that is pretty much job done for the share price Add in a dividend and the instis will take this to a completely new level. | wrighty46
27/2/2018 15:48 | Thanks for the black and white Friendzarin. | celeritas
27/2/2018 15:26 | Celeritas. It's always good to see it in black and white as well. Stephen's words verbatim. “This years going to be very exciting .We have a very aggressive exploration programme ahead. We will be putting information out about that in due course …however this particular programme is looking at a rolling three year exploration programme not just focussing on our near mine exploration but also looking at the total area of the Gedabek contract area 300 square kilometres where we have in addition to our current mining operations many different targets of both gold and gold copper style mineralisation to further evaluate …so as part of that as well we are going to be looking at enhancing our resources and our reserves with the objective of dovetailing our production profiles with future resource and reserve growth pattern.” | friendzarin
27/2/2018 13:57 | Worth another listen from Stephen Westhead, 6:25 on. Should be any day now in the next 2 weeks. | celeritas
27/2/2018 13:30 | It's not me selling. I'm well and truly sticking with mine now. GLA. | wrighty46
27/2/2018 11:45 | Something leaked? Can't get the stock? Has AAZ been 'discovered'! | lefrene
27/2/2018 11:42 | Wassup? All these buys, nex included? 42<>43p now :0) Smells good!! | 2sporrans

27/2/2018 10:18 | AAZ are working their figures at $1.250 x OZ Say we are producing about 2000 per week (just to keep it round figure) $80 extra x oz makes $160.000 x week and by 52 = $8,320,000 dollars extra to working figures. Let Gold stay at $1330, we are very happy with that. Good morning all. | terropol
27/2/2018 08:17 | Chuckle chuckle. A little more patience Catsick... | yasx
27/2/2018 08:15 | At the moment its more like a secret 3 year plan ! | catsick
26/2/2018 22:35 | What were the words, an aggressive 3 year exploration plan. Nothing to stop that now with cash released for exploration and a dividend. | celeritas
26/2/2018 21:01 | impatient sellers, cagey buyers .. that's the current market dynamic here jeanesy. The lack of the former, limits opportunites for the latter and so we see this pattern of slowly withering trading volumes Completely new hands probably holding off completely until the next update is released and digested. Gold jiggling about in the 1320-1330 region .. plenty good enough for AAZ. It has been a very kind winter for us to date .. only 5-6 weeks remaining and then the conditions will facilitate ground-works for the new crusher. At some time reaction times will start to reduce for all the processing methods as ave. daily temperatures rise & above ground drilling will become easily. (For selfish reasons, am hoping the update is this week as will be long haul away on business next week but, main thing is the update comes out when Stephen is ready to put his name to it.) | mattjos
26/2/2018 20:20 | Very quiet on here today. Unlike here it looks like the weather in the region is turning milder.. double digit temps forecast in about a week's time ?! | jeanesy
26/2/2018 07:13 | Good start to the week for gold as expected. | jbe81
25/2/2018 19:00 | 100% agree crazycoops ... Stephen will pass it over to Reza when it's done & when he's happy with it.At some point in next 2 weeks though.Long, long, long wait for this & greatly looking forward to it | mattjos
25/2/2018 15:07 | No jeanesy, it won't necessarily be next week but it could be. I'd prefer the company published when they are ready to do so rather than holding them to superficial deadlines. I imagine it will be a very detailed strategy publication, accompanied by a JORC for much of the 2017 exploration work. If there is a short delay in publication, I am happy to trust there is a good reason for it - this management team have earned that trust from shareholders.A little patience will be rewarded handsomely, IMHO. | crazycoops
24/2/2018 19:39 | Are we expecting the exploration update next week ? I will be looking eagerly on monday morning ! | jeanesy
24/2/2018 12:36 | Thank you Bo Doodak, an education! That first video helps underline the first class business execution of the AAZ Board. Getting through to profitable commercial production without dilution is a very rare achievement indeed. | lefrene
24/2/2018 10:48 | Sandstorm videos were very informative. I can think of a number of companies I own / have owned that fall into the value destruction traps he mentions. We all will ultimately owe our good fortune to Reza for not diluting us to oblivion. The share price must eventually respond to drilling results, shrinking debt and prospect of dividend payment.I guess the broker fees are pretty minimal. Maybe AAZ should start paying for greater coverage. ProactiveInvestors does not cut the mustard, pretty much attracts the same bunch of retail investor. | goodgrief
24/2/2018 09:47 | Also bringing eyes to aam, Do Angel even bother with that aspect. At some point many more investors will know aam exists, how many will be thinking I wish I knew about them earlier. You can be the tastiest chocolate on the shelf but who's going to try you if you are at the back and out of sight with no customer knowledge you even exist. | celeritas
24/2/2018 09:23 | Thanks BD Most insightful and sobering, allowing for Sandstorm talking their book. When AAZ bought the AL Leach plant for $50mn just after the POG peak of 2011 it was pretty much debt financed. [I sold out my orig. stake] There was a lot of follow up plant spend to get production efficient; SART, then 2013 Flotation + plenty more CAPEX besides. So the debt was still ~$50-mn just 2 or so years back. But it looks [from what the 2nd vid. tells us] that the debt raising may actually have been quite well timed. [even at 12% rates] And counter to the companies Sandstrom refers to in case studies, AAZ never went the equity raise route so never diluted the existing pool. It's that that seems to explain much of the value decimation in the case studies. So, those that have held on through since 2011 in AAZ saw a decimation in its share price BUT one that is [and has been] reversible. Dilution is forever. Sure, the drop in POG and investor 'sentiment' explained a lot, maybe most of the share price drop [+ there's the Bashirov saga], yet the above stands. Anyways....AAZ is in a happy place now, with infrastructure, facilities and plant well evolved to match the resources, mostly paid down, soft-refinanced and cashflow should readily cover full repayment on if not before time. There will be further CAPEX to develop underground mining [probably] and on the FLot.->SARt plant to match the increase and increased % of copper rich, sulphide ores extracted 2018 onwards [inevitably] but this can be incremental and mostly financed by free cash flow from operations. Steady as she goes; no rush. Those videos provide a salutatory heads-up as to the huge downside risks of rapid expansion, regardless of how it may be funded. | 2sporrans
24/2/2018 02:13 | Very interesting indeed, the data in the second one covering how few mining projects come in on budget and then how few make the profit they claimed at the outset while proffering a string of excuses was very interesting, and also how debt is such a killer of shareholders returns which is hopefully something we have put in the past now ! | catsick
24/2/2018 01:25 | Hi all, First post on this BB - Having held/added over these past 8 years, its been a long and at times frustrating wait, but I'm ever hopeful the market is finally about to start to reward the company and therefore those who have kept the faith, with a much increased share price over the next year(s). All the regular board contributors thoughts have been very much appreciated. FWIW, these two Sandstorm Gold videos may be of interest. They give quite a different perspective to the usual view on when to time investments in the mining life cycle, and the insidious impact of passive investing on the capital raising process. Bo PS. Mattjos, if it interests, the oil tiddler you were considering, who's BB had no useful comments (and still doesn't) is well worth a re-visit | bo doodak |
