Welcome aboard McFly. I think I'll be going to Proactive as my trip into town is only 30 minutes.

re the point you refer to re the crusher this was something discussed with Stephen Whitehead after the AGM. I think you'll find that JB made reference to this about that time. (With due respects to JB)if you look at his posts 7792 and 7778 for instance you'll find reference.

Without Stephen being specific it was my impression that the crusher was identified as a potential pinch point and if it became a limiting factor it would probably get addressed at that stage.(JMHO)

Thanks 2Sporrans,Looks like crushing capacity could be the issue. Something to check at proactive.

Tesla is likely to unveil its electric articulated lorry in October, chief executive Elon Musk said on Thursday.
The entrepreneur has excited the trucking industry with the prospect of a battery-powered, heavy duty vehicle that can compete with conventional diesels.

These large lorries will need larger electric motors and infrastructure than cars. The emerging growth of EV's for personal, commercial and industrial use will place huge demand on copper.

An update on Bittibulag and its copper mineralisation would be more than welcome.

Bittibulag is coming up with increasing frequency .. from memory, if you go way, way back on the III thread for AAZ you will see a great deal of info on Bittibulag from a poster called FundFemale .. she visited Gedabek several years ago & is still a holder .. I am lead to believe she took on a lot more stock to add to her holding around the 4p lows.
Fundfemale .. if you are lurking here, I hope you are well & enjoying the ride now .. must have been tough holding throughout the Bashirov selling period & then adding a shedload more but, you should be ok now.

Stay calm. Interims will not reflect the last few weeks. Still good but perhaps not market changing. Anyone in even now on a winner.

I'm told that the new BARC trading platform has a box enabling you to publish your limit orders ... very good.

So, my advice is watch the pre-market auctions and the intra-day auctions carefully from start to finish.
The Auction is a 2-stage process .. in the first stage the seller is persistently displaying how many and at what price he is prepared to sell stock at. Soon as you see that, if you want to get in the auction, put in your limit buy order and instruct that the trade is published.
In the second stage of the auction, this is where the buyer is usually appearing more positively, often increasing his buy limit from Stage 1 in an effort to match up with the seller ... if they meet up, that's the UT (Uncrossing Price & associated volume).

At times the buyer has tried to show he wants the price lower and has signalled his buy price at below the MM's bid price in the auction .. when he does this, there is no Uncrossing Trade but, often the online buying keeps on and on from the PI's .. this must be infuriating the MM's just now. I imagine they want this over with as much as everyone else .. they are being forced to make a market at a price much lower than they really want, imo.
They'll have to be buyers themselves in the auction soon, if they are not already.

gutterhead ... as soon as there is buying at 35p and above then I belive the run to 50p will be extremely rapid .. .2-3 days and we could easily hit that level.

That would only a be a 35% upward move spread over say 2-3 days.

Everyone with L2 can see the seller is holding this back just now in the 30-34 level ... its this stock and the level at which the buyer(s) are taking it out in the auction which is the real market just now. I think the fast run to 50p will come as a consequence of the 4 Market Makers being significantly short of stock .. they would like to have the ability just now to jig it about themselves and try to shake out some traders but, they are stuck by the seller on the parallel market and therefore not really in control.

At some point, that stock is for sure going to get taken out ... consider it a multi-level iceberg sell like you see on a SETS stock. Once it goes, as all overhangs do eventually go, there will be b*gger all holding this back and the MM's will be at the mercy of the crowd.

If we pan back on then chart and look at this way, we see the resistance is circa 34-35p ... from memory the seller's last block on the book is at 34p ... after that, it gets very interesting :-)

Commencement of production for Ugur's first 10 days have more than doubled the daily output of gold dore. Thinking that interims will follow early next week and highlight another full weeks production from Ugur as it ramps up.

Can't really see this back tracking, more likely testing 34p and a positive interims to break through and onwards toward 37-40p. They have much news to report/update on a few fronts. Any other news eg. Bittibulag etc as they are achieving targets ahead of predictions on a few fronts. That being the case we could exceed 40p next week and year end north of 60p.

Flotation [Non Dore] production query.

McFly/JBravo/Graylyn

Might it be that the Flotation production is being limited by a bottleneck on crushing capacity which is segregated between the AL and Flotation processes [and also heap leaching]?

Fwliw, my thoughts:

1. All the considerable Ugur production is going through AL+SART; a reasonable assumption the AL plant is running not far off full capacity.

2. Flotation production [of stockpiled gold/copper sulphide ore is running in PARALLEL; previously it has been 100% through EITHER the AL->F->SART OR [recently] the F->AL->SART sequenced set-ups

3. The ore throughput for both AL and flotation processes commences with ore crushing. The AL plant came initially with 1 SAG mill in 2013; a second was added in 2016 to increase throughput; suggests there was a crushing bottleneck then.
Flotation plant has 2 [integral?]crushing facilities.

4. Accepting the combined total SAG+F crushing capacity enables 2,000+ton/day ore throughput; the flotation dedicated capacity alone is maybe only ~400t/d max.

5. Even if there is spare SAG mill capacity to divert from AL crushing to F, to do this may be fraught with logistical problems. For sure, won't want to mix up the Ugur oxide-gold ore with the sulphide copper-gold ore.

Whatever, AAZ have maintained their production forecast for this year in the 64-72k-oz gold-equiv. range; this notwithstanding the [earlier than targeted] Ugur sourced dore output is forecast to increase a fair bit more over the coming weeks/months.
Methinks they may be being a tad conservative here; deliberately as is their wont.
Guess there will be reduced excavation->haulage->processing during the Winter season, espec. Dec-Mar inclusive and AAZ are allowing for a somewhat severe one.
The SAG-AL plant process may now not be impacted much but the excavation->haulage surely will.
Then again, the early, rapid excavation of Ugur may allow for some stockpiling adjacent to the AL for winter feed.....
Oh what games and fun!

The interim results are next in line news but it's the prospect of a soon to be revealed copper hoard in Bittibulag that whets my appetite the greater.

assuming the seller around the 30-34 level is share price Angel selling on the Director options stock ... remember the proceeds are going to the company so, a useful cash injection.

Don't know what the rules on this are but, if the seller is S P Angel on behalf of the Director Options then, maybe they are barred from issuing a new BUY note when they are currently selling on behalf of the company?? That would seem to be put them in a disingenuous position.
Lets see if they magically issue a BUY note with revised target one the auction stock is gone .. if so, I think that's the explanation

Might still get a few under 30p, if the pattern is consistent but, doubt it will stick there for too long.

Friendzarin .. the analyst is very, very cautious. Unfortunately, not the quickest to react to events. They were far too slow revising to lower price targets when Basher started selling & left in place a way too optimistic price target for over a year & that left them looking rather daft. Now, they are behind the curve once again.Whether that is as a consequence of egg on face previously or, simply as a result of his conservative nature .. perhaps a bit of both &, as previous RNS demonstrated, perhaps Reza, Bill & Stephen being cagey with what they have on the go and more inclined to under promise and over deliver. However, you are right to chase him, imo ... they need to pull their finger out else, seek a new Nomad .. perhaps when we exceed £50m mkt cap that may be the time. All that said, what do they really offer anyway???

Made a polite enquiry of S P Angel as to when we might expect an update from them in their coverage of AAZ and mentioned developments in recent RNS's.

Received a not unsurprising response that they will update the market when there is sufficient meaningful news to comment on.

The analyst for this area is Sergey Raevskiy (Research Analyst, Mining)

So I guess they require some hard and fast financials and the next 'meaningful opportunity ' will be post half year results

this may answer the 300 to 400 t per day query, taken from proactive

The average daily gold production in the form of gold doré for the period from 1 to 10 September 2017 was 212 ounces, which is 116% higher than the average daily production for the previous eight months.

This average daily production is expected to increase further as Ugur moves into full production.

The company is processing the Ugur ore only by agitation leaching. The Ugur oxide-rich ores do not contain copper and therefore the tailings of the agitation leaching plant are not treated by flotation.

As a result, the flotation plant is free to process some 300 to 400 tonnes per day of mainly high sulphide stockpiled ore using its own mills.

Thanks mcfly.
I may see you there, yet to decide.

Well, as several posters have said. This is going to be an amazing finish to the year and next year is going to be the strongest performance by the company to date.

Debt completely gone.
$100m revenue. Possibly 30-40m profit.
Share price is gonna go stratospheric as people realise that currently the company is valued at £35m

Such a small free float too. What is it? 500k shares traded today and 10% up?
Just 500k?
Lets wait to see what happens on a 1-2m day like we occasionally get.
We had a huge volume day last time we were at proactive, but there were more shares available then.

lol matt. You now have no chance of your extra 1m shares below 30p

oh yes thanks mcfly.

That bit doesn't make sense to me.

The flotation plant has previously treated all of the agitation tailings or indeed all the ore which went into the AL plant.
That has varied between 160-180kt/qtr roughly.

When it was commissioned we were told capacity was 90t/hr

I wonder why it's so low now. What else is it doing? Is it just wrongly reported? Or is it a milling capacity issue?
