15/2/2016 09:52 | Copper doing well | zhockey
15/2/2016 08:26 | There needed to be some consolidation in the price and better to close the gap before it moves forward. At $1200 AAZ still make around $600 per ounce. | brasso3
15/2/2016 08:21 | Gold taking a bit of a hit this morning. Chance for some some to top up before the production figures. | jeanesy
15/2/2016 06:21 | Gold looking to fill the gap down at $1195. AAZ production numbers for January will be out in the next 2 days. | brasso3
14/2/2016 20:35 | Zhockey, can't get a long term copper chart . It's only in quarterlies on ADVFN.That may become more relevant in 2017 but, this year, it's all going to be about the Gold & Silver here, imo. | mattjos
14/2/2016 11:01 | I like the production chart, would howecer prefer a copper over silver chart. | zhockey
14/2/2016 09:56 | The AAZ logo in the header of this thread is a link direct to the investors section of the company website | mattjos
14/2/2016 09:33 | Over a three year period there is a very strong trend with gold and copper production. The gold might start to flat line now and more growth will come through copper and silver (and possibly zinc). Having said that if gold gets to $1300 - $1500/oz then the low grade ore at Gedebek would be much more commercial and no reason why gold cannot increase. | brasso3
14/2/2016 09:29 | Well Done. | philo124
14/2/2016 09:25 | Matt I extended it back to 2013:- | brasso3
14/2/2016 06:56 | Mattjos - as a new investor ( bought in last week ) I found all the information I needed from the link in header to the last presentation and by reading the last 5 years of RNS's, I agree with On Target a link to company website would be helpful. | timberwolf3
13/2/2016 21:18 | ok, lets see what others have to say ... I was thinking about the header from the point of view of a new investor .... existing investors can skip the header if they wish | mattjos
13/2/2016 20:46 | My two-penneth is there's too much in the header already. I don't see a need for the production chart really. Just a link to the website would be fine. | on target
13/2/2016 20:41 | Yes, sure. I will have a play around with it tomorrow. | brasso3
13/2/2016 19:35 | Brasso ... are you able to do your Q'ly production chart over a longer timeframe please? perhaps since Gedabek came on stream? There are likely going to be a lot of investors looking for gold miners in this new phase of the gold price ..... is there anything else that I can put it in the thread header which might help new arrivals? Suggestions welcomed but, please bear in mind that writing this html code (as basic as it may be to an expert) takes me ages as I am pretty clueless at it :-( | mattjos
13/2/2016 12:32 | Stocks, past year.(from twitter) US: -11% Japan: -17% Germany: -18% UK: -16% Italy: -21% India: -20% China: -12.5% Spain: -25% Ukraine: -44% Greece: -47% Gold and AAZ looks a good place to be | jbe81
13/2/2016 11:42 | Hopefully we will get some good production figures next week for jan which will keep this good run going..please!The weather is turning mild in the region which can only be good news for us ! | jeanesy
12/2/2016 20:34 | I don't think they care about buy backs, they want to preserve and grow the future of the company. | zhockey
12/2/2016 19:34 | Nice one Mattjos, thanks as always for your comment. | philo124
12/2/2016 19:11 | If they buy their shares back Reza would have to be a seller in order to stay below the % ownership level at which he would be obliged to make an offer for the whole company so, I would strongly suggest, that ain't going to happen at this price.Just need a little more patience ... Next week could be very interesting with the Chinese holidays over but, that aside, just search online fir the growing references to lack of faith in central banks, lack of faith in fiat currency, the is aster that QE has proven to be, the likelihood of negative interest rates the world over this year and now the growing threat that cash & bank notes will slowly becoming illegal ... All in an ever greater & more ridiculous effort to persuade folk to spend and take on yet more debt ..... It ain't going to happen! If you can't have cash & they charge you to have money in the bank ... Folk will simply buy physical gold. It's small, easy to hide away, transit over borders and readily fungible the world over ... Oh yes & you can't print it like you can bank notes. | mattjos
12/2/2016 18:58 | The share price and hence the market cap is around the same as 1 year ago. However, one year ago to the day, the $:£ rate was 1.54 and the gold price was $1189. Let's hope the debt comes down at a rate of knots and thereafter the Board sets aside say $500,000 for a share buyback or tender offer. | philo124
12/2/2016 18:53 | IMO, things have hardly got going in terms of the recent POG recovery. The trade volumes here are piddly. This and SHG look good ones to buy and hold. My CGH holding is higher risk but the gains will be spectacular if they can finance the mine in the context of gold around $1500+. Leverage is the key; add $300 to POG and AAZ throws off another $21,000,000 assuming 70k/oz production. Have a good weekend all | highly geared
12/2/2016 18:52 | Does the Company have a mandate to buy back its own shares. If not, looking ahead to large cash generation, it would be good idea if they at least put one in place. | philo124
12/2/2016 18:46 | Yep. Chinese New Year fell on the 8th , Chinese lucky number and year of the monkey, again usually auspicious. | philo124
12/2/2016 17:37 | Totally agree . | gary38 |
