03/7/2015 08:24 | A buy to start us off. | brasso3
02/7/2015 22:54 | The seller should have been contacted to declare if he has crossed notifiable position .. Let's see. If not the seller, I do hope that Cantor is short this stock. | mattjos
02/7/2015 22:22 | 3 days now without much selling. Has our seller finally finished. I am expecting double figures on this news alone but we may have to wait a while for it to be official via RNS. Really looking forward to the next quarterly update now. | brasso3
02/7/2015 22:02 | Boards usually go quiet when folk are trying to buy on the qt | mattjos
02/7/2015 17:47 | I was expecting a down day today. Very surprised it has held up. The 100k buy at 7.5p kept us even by the looks of it. | brasso3
02/7/2015 10:05 | that would be a nice divi for Reza, £328k & I doubt anyone would begrudge him that given his willingness to lend money to the company rather than dilute the equity. A man who clearly understands & values the worth of the equity in the company. If you are reading Reza .. How about some photos of the new flotation plant on the website in your existing 'Gallery' section? | mattjos
02/7/2015 09:42 | Exactly mattjos. Not a lot to add is there? Only 10 days or so til the results for the second quarter are out. It will show June at around 7,000oz and the quarter therefore at around 19,000oz. We will be sitting pretty to achieve the top end of the predictions (75,000oz) for the year. Add in the largest amount of copper they'll ever have produced and most importantly the cost benefit that the flotation plant starts to bring and it's going to be an amazing 12 months. If people are waiting for that holding RNS they will only see the price climb as they sit on their hands. We have seen the price climb quickly with very little stock traded the last three days. Reza has suggested to me that a dividend in 2016 is a possibility. Obviously it is early days for such talk, and lots need to go smoothly but the share structure makes the starting of dividends possible. A 1p dividend is only £1.1m and we will be turning a profit of over 20 times that in 2016 | jbravo2
01/7/2015 17:13 | I got hurt with the selling pressure in 2014 here. Not willing to chase it higher but i note the apparent change in tone in the market place. The Bashirov factor is not something that anyone here can predict ending except when you get rapid price momentum on good news. Sadly, PIs will be last in the queue to find out. | divmad
01/7/2015 17:08 | what's to say? We all know it is stupidly cheap as a consequence of Bashirov selling. Looks like the buying is gradually overcoming the selling pressure but, I suspect the volume buyers will only finally feel emboldened once the "Bashirov gone" RNS is finally announced. Some old hands slowly re-appearing now after a long absence & they will understand the company best and perhaps experienced the last huge upward movement. Couple more news items leading up the flotation plant go-live to confirm that things are on track and a wider audience will see the opportunity for what it is. In the meantime, a case of keep trying to pick them up as/when it settles back down again. 2016 really not that far away now and the likely Revenue metrics for that year really make the current mkt cap plain daft. | mattjos
01/7/2015 16:43 | 1 post all day! | brasso3
01/7/2015 14:44 | Increased production far outweighs 0.18% movement on pog. read the RNS and explain what's so strange | gutterhead
30/6/2015 17:35 | Moving 0.18% south? Earth shattering. | wigwammer
30/6/2015 16:26 | POG heading south is surely not good news here. Strange move north imo | jeanesy2
30/6/2015 15:10 | Don't think anyone can argue that it has not now well & truly filled those 2 gaps from 2008 & now looks to be finally breaking free. Been a frustrating long wait for it to get back to that level. Lets see how it reacts now it's satisfied that technicality free stock charts from uk.advfn.com | mattjos
30/6/2015 14:22 | Everything is in place for history to repeat itself here. Once the debt starts getting repaid the market will take notice. The resource keeps creeping up each year so it wont be long before AAZ have 2m+ oz of reserves booked. | brasso3
30/6/2015 14:08 | c_c_b .. I have £1.10 as my FY 2016 target, fwiw | mattjos
30/6/2015 14:00 | Jbravo2, nice to meet you yesterday and have a Chat, Also Fundfemale good to see you again. JB2 the correct name for our CTO is "Farhang Hedjazi". Nice to have him back. Also we should mention the fact that Mr.Sununu has written a book titled "The Quite man" About his time in the White house as Chief of staff. We all got a fee signed copy. We look forward to the next market update. | terropol
30/6/2015 13:46 | Many thansk jb and ff, really good of you to post your findings from the AGM, looks like people have either been reading this thread or a few others took away the same messages as you from the AGM and decided to buy in as well. Potential here is enormous. Agree profits in 2015 aren't going to break records, but 2016 could be an enormous year for AAZ and if so, then a market cap of sub 10m will be history, lets say we make a profit of $25m (after govt take their cut) historically this share used to trade at a pe of around 3.5 so we would easily justify a share cap of $85m i.e. a share price of 70p plus! It really is good that the co. has avoided excess dilution and the step by the CEO to offer up that loan was a big sign of commitment. I am getting too positive about this one again now which normally ends in doom though so please ignore me. | captain_crash_and_burn
30/6/2015 13:40 | Hi Matt - good to see you around here too. Matt - Terropol asked some excellent questions including the one about the seller... JB2 - yes that was me in the front row -also there in 2011/2012/2014. We shall certainly say hello next time and it should well be celebration year. It was good to meet Bill Morgan the new CFO also. | fundfemale
30/6/2015 13:08 | Hi fundfemale, I'm not sure we'll be hitting the highs of 2012 results this year ($28m profit) but I'm sure we'll beat it easily next year. The results this year should be good but not quite that good due to the amount of cyanide and ammonia we're using. Shame we didn't get to say hello (I presume you were sat on the front row, dressed in red?) but I'll make sure to say Hi next year when the share price will be materially different. Other than the board/Farhan, I only spoke to terropol who was there as usual! | jbravo2
30/6/2015 12:56 | Thanks Fundfemale .. nice to hear from you again & glad to see you are still interested here. Plenty of potential catalysts in the pipeline for the market to realise that the recent price has been a complete nonsense as a consequence of gold miners being out of favour and perhaps more relevant is Bashirov selling (for whatever reason) ... at some point I am assuming he will declare his sub 3% holding & the company sounds like they will be putting some pressure on him to come clean shortly. If it is Cantor that have been his selling agent over the last year or so then, it is noticeable that they recently been favouring more the buy side rather then sell. On the metrics you suggest, $10m mkt cap still seems grossly undervalued to me | mattjos
30/6/2015 12:39 | Jbravo2 many thanks. Looks excellent going forward and can see north of 75k for end of year production alongside very strong copper output. | bleepy
30/6/2015 12:38 | Hi Matt, as a result of my conversations at the AGM yesterday I believe that we will get a resource upgrade at some stage as a result of drilling Gadir, I understand that we have reached a level of ore there around 3.5g/t and mining will commence imminently. jbravo2 - a great post- thanks for so comprehensively communicating all the elements of progress. Unfortunately, I do not think we met at the AGM. In 2015 we are currently well on track at Gedabek to produce 75k ounces gold so assuming a minimum $90,000,000 gold sales revenue and I believe $6,000,000 + copper concentrate sales, I believe we should equal or exceed the profit levels of 2010-2012 on this basis alone. As we are expected to produce from Gadir from July we may well have a very pleasant surprise with regards to production figures over-exceeding target this year. A full year from Gedabek/Gadir/Gosha, should make for a great 2016, with debt to be paid down sooner rather than later. I agree with jb2 a certain buy. | fundfemale
30/6/2015 12:28 | The lack of stock available either indicates the seller has finished or not willing to sell at this share price. | brasso3 |
