will be interesting in Q4 this year to see if the combination of the flotation plant, the agitation leaching, heap leaching & SART enables the company to hit the target cost of production envisaged when the agitation plant was first planned.

Despite the rise from the seeming clearing of the seller this is still laughably cheap.
If you believe that mgmnt will finally now be able to process the differing ore types in the most efficient manner & continue to do so then, this will see us clear the IPO price in the next 24 months, imo.

A lot of stocks going through a share clearout before April 5th - trick is to buy low when the seller has sold a load -

MMs marked down this morning hoping for more sells - That looks unlikly now.

I like this stock.

Always seems to have a delayed reaction to good news.

The 3 - 4p area was a good buy.

At least the RNS suggests a reasonably healthy going concern, whereas the share price suggests otherwise. There must be a decent recovery from here, surely?

$6.5m in savings this year on the currency shift ... that's over 10% of the total debt

Well looks good news today, and good to see company had no problem making the first chunky loan repayment and is advancing the new (now bigger) plant without delay.
Good savings to come from devaluation...
This company has a ridiculous valuation, the market is wrong.

Enterprise value is what?

Mkt Cap= $7.5m
Debt minus Cash = $52m

Call it $60m

Some 8 times higher than the mkt cap.
Mkt cap is less than the value of the ore stacked on the pads, let alone the resource at Gedabek etc.
Seems overly penal valuation given the warmer months ahead and the recent reductions in Opex from the oil price and the local currency devaluation.
The company might be well advised to issue some management commentary on just what are the beneficial effects to Opex going forward.

I should have shorted this in the 30's when I got out and said it was going to fill this gap .. Particularly as Cantor got germs roves perched on the Offer week in & week out but, I still struggle with the ethics of shorting a stock & decided to wait to get back at this level.Nothing would give me greater pleasure though than to see Cantor & their client get fried here .. They could do with a good bloody-nosing to remind them that they are nought but a bunch of shiny-shoed, cheap-suited, shallow, second-hand car salesman - at best!

A bit about gold here:

Investments in physical gold are efficient until its price reaches the level of $4,000

Baku, Fineko/abc.az. Theorists of the today’s global crisis believe that investments in physical gold will remain efficient for quite a long time.

According to Mikhail Khazin, Head of the Neocon consulting company, the time, when the gold price minimum was at the level of $1,200 per ounce, is gone and in future gold prices will keep growing.

“Gold price will grow up to $4,000 per ounce in today’s dollars (the price corridor will be changed when the dollar is devaluated). That’s the price when gold can still be attractive for investments”, - Khazin says.

At the same time, in his words, it’s difficult to say how soon gold prices will reach those new levels.

The key to this has always been to determine which method is best employed to cost-effectively extract the PM's and the Copper from the complex ore type on site. They can now process the ore in several different ways to good effect. The production stream, thus far, seems to have previously lacked:A) the necessary process typesB) A scientifically proven initial decision-tree as to what mineralogy ore flows along which process route. The debt is not to be ignored but does also signify the confidence that funders have in the company & Reza's ability to 'get there in the end'.The prize at Gedabek is simply too great to go begging and so I conclude that at that some future point they will unlock the process to extract profitably. We should know by Autumn this year

This is trading now at a level which assumes it is completely unviable. Some may have determined that.I put forward the following:Reza is very well connected with the government and is running one of two sole gold producers in the country. Do we really believe that the govt will see this threatened in any local disturbances, given the govt and central bank intent to build their gold reserves?Has the company now gained sufficient knowledge of the Gedabek reserve to enable it to profitably extract the Gold, Copper & Silver that undoubtedly resides there? The warmer & more productive leaching months are now imminent and so too the flotation plant. The Copper reserves have, finally, been recognised at Gedabek (as always identified in the pre-IPO reports) and we now have three different methods on site of cost effectively maximising extraction according to the ore mined.

Gold going up today...It may trade different now that Banks are unable to fix the price....
Adding to my position here.
£3.8m valuation is very silly. I assume the first big loan repayment was made middle of February.

It's been going on for 23yrs and Azer has a lot of international support in their favour. Armenia has been stoking and provoking for yrs whilst Azer has always looked for a non military solution. With so many now on their side they are not likely to initiate a war, just defend their position and principals.

I think this is more about a large seller. His/her or their reasons not known yet.

It's also strange that the problem of high copper content in the ore was not known prior to the AL plant being built. It was built to treat higher grade sulphide ore,of which they had stock piled since start of mine. Surely exploration and due diligence were carried out to justify the new plant,if not,why not. So where was all the higher grade sulphide ore coming from that justified the plant build.

The walk down in share price has me very suspicious,it seems almost intentional for whatever motive lies behind it.

They have made mention of high grade strikes in recent exploration. Ordubad exploration and possibilities has gone quiet.

The AZ govt recently formed a pm dept to oversee their countries deposits. I believe they were in the process of building,if not complete, their own gold refinery. Does AZ retain all its own gold production?

Are the AZ govt intent on going a step further and nationalising the pm industry?

Glad I sold out at 54p and took a small holding out in the twenties as I believed there was potential. Yet since the AL plant build, the share price has declined steadily with what still seems huge potential at gedabek and other sites. AIMHO of course,I sincerely hope it's otherwise as I still see a return in my modest stake.
