A good update, but investors, at this stage of the company's evolution, are still adhering to the old saying ''if it looks to good to be true it probably is''.

One day there will be a trigger, but not sure this is yet it.

I'm not normally in favour of buy backs mf, but in this case I have to agree

If the company believes the valuation is significanly discounted then it should buy back shrs

We should just put out an RNS stating that we have found a Covid 19 treatment in our underground mine! >>>500p

The solution is for the company to buy back shares, hold in treasury and sell to the highest institutional bidder imo.

That is why i mentioned the PSA CMB. There is still something niggling away at me about that. The shareprice should be up .. up and away after that RNS but we are currently down !! Bonkers If the azeri government does have a hand in this then they clearly have plans to buy this on the cheap or renegotiate the PSA so it is more favourable still for them.

The problem remains that shares are so tightly held that it is impossible for someone to build a £5-10m stake, so it is out of bounds for most institutions. So while the mining industry may notice, other than a takeover, which will only happen if board agree, there is nothing they can do with AAZ. It's very frustrating.

LOL, Bumpa it is very nice to have contacts in the right places. 😉

Wan as most of us now know AAZ gets sold off on any good news !! Now what PI with any brains would sell without listening to Bill's presentation??
So, I then get to the conspiracy theory
the AZARI GOV has a hand in this share price holding back.
What do other shareholders think ?

Cinoib, despite the price seemingly being manipulated the value here is outstanding, I doubt it is going unnoticed by the mining industry.

Thing is, we opened well and people said there was little stock to buy. MMs widen spread to deter buyers further. Then in absence of momentum a couple of sells from short term traders who bought expecting a pop come in and we are back to flat.

Well folks, there you have it. If that doesn't get the share price moving I don't know what will and about 15 years mine life, well, what more do you want for instituion investers to get thier teeth into. I think that is about as good as it gets and 2 new mines to start production in 22. If we don't reach £2 and beyond after such news then I'll give up investing.

No prob Wan, info is usually tight - especially if you don’t actually have an order to present them - i.e. just fishing :)

Added a few more, rns with LOM out of the way adds an immediate 30-40p to margin of safety in shareprice ,if gold price stays firm new investors to the sector can't ignore.

Hopefully Bill will now confirm that Ugur will not run out before the developments in 2022 and production in 2021 will be approx the same as 2020.

My £5 target is clearly in view with notes from SPA and Hardman to follow and a proactive presentation from Bill later today.

Jorc’s for all three producing mines completed by Q3/20.

Prioritising discoveries identified by current exploration to increase production and mine life

· The Company is now focused on five discoveries which can be fast tracked into production
· Gold and copper mineralisation exist on or near the surface for each discovery giving good potential for mine development - production anticipated from 2022 onwards
· Development programmes completed for the five discoveries

Long term upside potential of existing concessions with the expectation of extending the life of existing mines at both Gedabek and Gosha by near-mine exploration.

Gedabek is highly prospective with the potential to host a large porphyry system
o Porphyry evaluation is planned for three years from 2021 to identify a mineral deposit suitable for mine development by 2024
o A porphyry ore body could potentially provide sufficient ore to extend production into at least the mid-2030s

Evaluating other opportunities, both within and outside Azerbaijan

· The Company will also consider any suitable opportunities, both inside and outside Azerbaijan, which it believes will enhance shareholder value

Reza Vaziri, CEO, commented:

"I am delighted to present this strategic update detailing our exploration and growth strategy, which clearly demonstrates the considerable potential for extending mine life and increasing production from our existing assets.

"The five new exploration discoveries now prioritised for development have the potential to significantly increase the production and mine life of the Company. Each project has gold and copper mineralisation at, or near, surface. We have developed extensive work programmes for each of these projects and this work will be a key focus for the Company in the near to medium term.

"Gedabek also has exceptional potential to host a porphyry system which, if proven, could provide tens of millions of tonnes of ore and increase mine life through to the mid 2030s and beyond. This is something we intend to focus on from 2021 onwards.

"This current plan demonstrates our confidence in the abundant resource base of the Company, which we believe will continue to generate significant shareholder value."

Again, well done Reza, team and all at AAZ for being and continuing to be an exceptional company employing and maintaining the highest of standards across the board since inception.

STCM - WINS bidding 100k, one other mm bidding 50k, forget who. Cantors offering 100k, Singers offering 250k but outside the price, they’re also a bidder well below the price - 16 - so pretty pointless stance. Yes Cantors have a seller into them, yes long standing, won’t open up who (didn’t ask as would be told to f’ off) got the impression they’re not done by any measure. Sorry couldn’t get more.

This RNS is good for LT holders but it is still part of the poker game with Azer government IMO.

We have lots of gold,
We have fantastic data,
We have all the infrastructure,
We have all of the knowledge and experience,
We have the necessary cash to make this grow,

Please can we now renegotiate the PSA and extend the mine life?

Absolutely lefrene they couldn't have spelled it out much better without A Jorc compliant 2 Million ozs. Mid 2030s speaks volumes.

Valuation 10* free cash flow is cheap.

Aaz deserves a premium for the excellent management.
