thanx cmb, AVCT, yep, maybe, but I still have a good sized holding and felt it prudent to take some risk out of it,,, my poker face was straining at the levels I had,,, whereas now it's nice and relaxed again :-)... as you say, we all have to play it our way and nothing will please me more than to see AVCT go on to 200p on news of the cytiva test,,, will I have regrets then about taking profits,,, no, not really as I'll know next time I play it that way it might just save me a packet.... :-) got to be a survivor in this game as you well know and have been for many years cmb :-) Cheers Wan :-)

CmbYou may be right, I got a little spooked by the GDR placing and it occurred to me that AVCT might do something equally stupid but last I looked GDR had held up better than expected. And AVCT appointee Zeus as advisers. Well, everyone I've asked has nothing good to say about them. I still hold some so I'm not entirely negative but have those question marks

thanx guys, yep, I know,,, eyes wide open in regard to BPC,,, its only punt money,, and nothing to do with the FA,,, just the chart and share price behaviour,,, let's see,,, BUT, big thanx for the warnings, much appreciated,, also, yep, well aware of TW, I was a paid up member for 6 months or so, just to get a view of the guy,,, as Bumpa told me way back when,,, he can be good at spotting the rotters out there..... :-) cheers Wan :-)

I would not touch BPC with oil at these prices. They are broke and there would be no revenue from any well success for many years.

2.3 billion shares in issue and they have not finished with the begging bowl...

When they announce the profits increase and probable 8c dividend for the year.(13% increase)...that should galvanise some thinking....hardly anyone is doing that.....and with gold around current levels and again with confirmation of no real Covid 19 issues....we should move upwards again....the big kicker is the exploration and expansion news....IMHO

Agree with than wan, but for a company which trades in the volume of AVCT it can be really difficult to bet on through IG: loads of times I've put in offers to buy or sell and they've only been able to provide 25% of what I've asked for and then shut up shop. Works both ways, going up and down. Very frustrating but (lols when you think of AAZ) liquidity is becoming increasingly important to me!

We should get a lift on profits being at record level.
We will get an increase in divi this year,its just a question of how much.
I would say the chance of the mines being closed now are next to none.
But it could be record profits and a increasing divi may not be enough for the market to not drop us never mind putting us up to fair value.
They seem to like the ugly sisters at the moment not the stunning beauty.

one thing I've learn't to do DP,,,,, once I've bought a stock, I then do a lot of dummy buys and sells on many different days, when the share price is rising, falling, doing nothing etc,,, just to try and get a gauge of what it will be like when I come to sell it,,,, obviously it doesn't work at all in a stampede, but generally it gives me an idea of how difficult it might be to get out of a position....... this is not something anyone has recommended to me and probably complete tosh,,, but it has enabled me to get out of my trades on the rise as I know I won't be able to on a fall and the fact I've tested it proves it to me and enables me to sell out too early,,, which I'learning, when trading, is no bad thing :-) Cheers Wan :-)

KAT on the move despite recent 1 month funding delay RNS to end of May.
Very encouraging ! leak ?

Reached 3p before funding delay RNS suggesting legs from here in anticipation fo those who want to perhaps trade.

For longer term investors the financials if funding is secured are off the charts in comparison to market cap and production in 2021

yep JSE looking strong KS,,, but, obs, all depends upon POO for short term gyrations,,, but, right now, nice gap to be filled and then resistance to be broken just below 60p.... great LTH in my humble opinion,,,, :-) Cheers Wan :-)

Think at this price we will get a lift on next results due to the price of gold. Any chance of a dividend increase. No debts either so strong fundamentals.

I would say they have a buyer in the background that wants all they can get.
This is the only reason the share price is at the price it is.
I would say if you are a buyer don't be deterred to buy even if you can only get a few. These will be 2 pound a share at some point in the near future IMO, so the more you can add now at this silly price the richer you will be in the future.

Can you see if you can short the price again now. because a month or so back they would not let you. Just out of interest.

Also added an AAZ spread bet when it was 120/122, asked for £100 a point and IG could only give me 10, so volume is tight. On the other hand, I closed out half of my AVCT bet earlier and closing that was not easy: that one can get tricky to both buy and sell.
